He was impeached because he perjured himself in a court of law, in a hearing unrelated to the special counsel, but please do go on.

He should just answer "I don't recall, I forget, I don't remember, I don't think I was ever told that".
He claims he wrote the answers.
Bottom line is with perjury almost anyone would get caught in it if they were queationed enough and Trump is more likely than most to expand on truth.
His lawyers may help him but the answers are Trump's. I don't see how his lawyers could be held liable but don't get your legal advice here.
