It’s late and I’m tired of this stupidity but you don’t know what you’re talking about. Albuquerque does have a ski area. It’s called Sandia Peak Ski area. It is owned and operated by the same family that owns Santa Fe Ski Area. It is two miles high on Sandia Crest and can be reached via a 15 minute tram ride from Albuquerque. It has been around since the 1960’s. Just stop talking about something you know nothing about. I’ve lived here since 1958. Albuquerque definitely has more to offer than Lubbock does and as to my original point Morgantown is a preferred place to live than Lubbock as well.

You didn’t read my post properly. I never said Albuquerque was a big city. But compared to Lubbock it is. I said Pittsburgh was. Try learning to read before you try to respond next time.

I’d definitely take Albuquerque over Lubbock, or any place else in Texas for that matter.

ok...want to see how the DH home boys on this forum spin this one. If confirmed further then the guy is a bigger jackass than I thought. This , again, if true, should be the straw that breaks the back.

I’m starting to dislike that guy. I haven’t beaten him up at all but if went for that joke lateral job he just wants out of Morgantown. I can only imagine how irrelevant Texas Tech is in Texas. U of Texass makes sure of that.

Pitt has a higher ceiling. Just haven’t had the coach to get Pitt there.

Even Penn St has taken a hit recently.

I doubt Penn St plays for a NC.
If big brother doesn't have an extremely high ceiling Pitt doesn't either.

Pitt's ceiling is playing in Orlando in the Camping World Bowl...

Pretty much the bowl WV is disappointed about.

I say that with respect to Penn St because their all white uniforms are second best to only Texas.

But...
You should know this. Ohio St has their foot on their neck. Ohio St is vicious. They can run with the big dogs in recruiting nationally. Penn St cannot.

It looks like all of the late, lurking, angry Hank's aliases are posting here?

Anyone who would say Lubbock is nicer than Morgantown either has never visited Lubbock or has never visited Morgantown or has never visited either one.

Let’s not get crazy. San Antonio is a great town. I think Santa Fe is preferable to Albuquerque. A great small town in NM is Roswell. The alien related attraction are only a small part of the town. They have a small zoo, a natural history museum, walking/running/biking trails. Nice place for a short visit.

Also, Holgorsen is just positioning himself for contract negotiations. That’s all. An interview with TTU would speed up an extension here.

Lubbock is a well documented scum hole west Texas dust bowl. Morgantown is a beautiful, growing, classy WV college city with pretty mountains and all 4 seasons. Morgantown is more expensive than Lubbock as well. Morgantown is getting bigger and more trendy each year. It’s quite nice with great schools. Great place for families. Low crime.

Dana is a ****** head coach. I wish someone was dumb enough to hire him away. I don’t think anybody wants him. That’s the issue.

Morganhole is a small town with a nasty river, gray bleak weather, and few job or entertainment options. It has no airport and brags about being close to Pittsburgh (which is no dream locale either), even though Pittsburgh is 90 minutes away.

Morgantown in the fall blows Lubbock out of the water. It’s really not even close. Mainly because the surrounding countryside is a color other than beige brown.

Morgantown, in the dead of a good February post-snow with dirty black, cinder filled slush on every road and street corner, blows Lubbock and most of Texas out of the water.

So ... let me get this straight ... a NAMED source (Lyons) states that he has had conversations and Holgy wants to remain as WVU's Head Coach.

But this article cites an "unnamed source" that he wanted the Tech job and we are just supposed to believe an "unnamed source?"

I call BS. The article, just like this thread, is nothing more than BS click bait.

If you don't have a source willing to be identified, then you don't have a REAL story. All you have is click bait.

They had the 6th ranked class in 2018...I think that's running with the big dogs.

But still you post on a WVU forum. Must have been tough getting that sixth grade diploma from where ever you actually came from. You are good for a chuckle though.

Well Greg, even you have to admit that western Pa. does not have the talent it used to have. This may be due to the shift from blue collar jobs to white collar jobs in the Pittsburgh area over the last 40 years.

Absolutely right 5-0. I don’t need to admit anything. I get beat up on the Pitt sites because I’ve posted for years how overrated the WPIAL has been for the last 15 years or 20 years. There’s maybe 5 players each year that are mid-to-top P5 types. I’ve posted many times that Pitt should only recruit the players PSU, OSU and ND recruit. Go south and east after those kids commit. Maybe I posted something that was confusing because I agree with you 100%.

Texass is a bit post drunk. Cut him a break.

Let’s all watch Texass move the goal posts because anyone that knows college football knows Franklin is a Top 5-15 recruiter.

WV could always go with Rich Rod if Dana bails. I mean, Dana told Lyons that he wants to stay at WV but.........you can't always believe coachtalk. What you can believe is moneytalk. Rich Rod loves money and would never bail on WV since he has publically stated he will stay at WVU as long as they would have him. Warez

Maybe I'm missing something in your post, but RR bailed on us once. I have been intimately introduced to the word "betrayal" and I can't abide by it with anyone, including RR. I'd never take him back.
