#1 high school 5-star qb falls in our laps.

Speed and agility 5 deep at WR.

All American WR returning.

5 star defensive linemen transfers in. Top linebacker in Big 12.

16 returning starters.

Solid kicker and punter.

Can’t be Iowa St or 5-loss OK state.

Maybe most of our fan base has given up on ever winning a national championship.

I’d be content with a Big 12 Championship and maybe Dana can do that, but he will never build a defense that can win the whole thing.

A big time coach could win it. We don’t have that.

Jack Allison next year is 3 loses already. He can’t run or scramble and is a sitting duck back there. He will fall apart as a full time starter. Trey Lowe better be ready and good. I have my doubts.

I'd settle for winning the Big 12 when it's in a down year, and that sure as hell isn't going to happen with Mr. Mediocre/Offensive Genius in charge and his soft gimmicky defense.

Heck man, our down year is a loss to a 6-6 team in a bowl. We’ve yet to be good enough to even make the 3rd place Alamo Bowl. That’s what we are looking at now. The best Dana can do, with 16 returning starters and an all American qb and WR is the Alamo Bowl. Heck, suck a$$ Pitt at least made their league championship game.

When will someone teach out Defensive Ends to stay at home on the Read Option? Game after game that play has hurt us. And why not put a spy on a running QB? Ever QB in the Big 12 mouth waters in anticipation of playing WVU. Again the tackling was horrible but that has come to be expected. Out coached again on both sides of the ball. Still hard to get used to.

Because it involves adjustments. Too much of a headache for our staff to deal with.

I'm not sure if we had more talent, that the coaching staff would know what to do with it. Spatival doesn't understand what a woodshed is, or what it would take to fill it. He likes to take an easy approach.
