Still a few more losses to count. The biggest thing was the increase in the senate and what it means for getting judges and appointees confirmed. Too many house Repubs retired for one reason or another.

It's like they like to be lied to and made to look stupid, I wonder how it compares to the tea party revolution? lol. Trump only wins in rural areas where all the smart people left and moved to the City

Smart people move out of cities and drive long drives to work in the city.

They believed the hype coming from the media about a "blue Wave" that never existed. They thought Trump was universally hated, and many of them hated him universally too. didn't want to to battle for him, and thought he was going to swamped in mid-terms because of media harping on "blue wave".

Almost all the candidates Trump stumped for won. If they had stuck with him, as incumbents they would have too.
