Oklahoma made Final 4 last year and had #1 pick in NFL draft. Oklahoma got flukishly upset by Georgia. Oklahoma would have beat Alabama in title. Big 12 is pretty damn good. $ is big in Big 12 too.

Big 12 plays good basketball, baseball too. It’s all year round success in Big 12.

I think a lot has to do with the bad QB play and slow WRs in the B1G.
Ohio St is only team that has athletic playmakers in the conference and they have dominated the last 6 years

The B10 is still behind the curve. Make a B10/B12 challenge this year and we would smoke that joke of a conference. Michigan looks like they could hang now that they figured it out. No one else in the Big 10 would beat their B12 counterpart until you get to the bottom 2 or 3. Kansas/Kansas St would not get it done.

Every conference goes in cycles. Actually, I reluctantly agree with the WAC comparison. This isn't quality Big 12 football right now.

West Virginia is the most complete team in the conference right now. Dana Holgorsden has g'nads of tungsten carbide for going for two points. Loved it. Will Grier is outstanding.

Horns-down is now a penalty? Funny, but truly pathetic. Then again, that's Austin, Texas for you.

I'm going to stop just short of being the first to congratulate you guys on a Big 12 Championship. It ain't over yet, but the thought of it is there in the forefront of my mind.

I think the Big 12 games are a hoot... There is so much action and fun up and down the field that a person hardly has time to get another beer. The round-robin scheduling makes us the most fun conference in the land.

Second I have changed my mind on our quality of football. Our offenses are so good it would make defenses anywhere look bad.

Is anyone in the B12 good enough to beat Bama? I don’t know, but if we (OU or WVU) did, the critics would have take a big steaming gulp of shut the hell up.

Big XII has more parity than any other league. I like it. The SEC is Georgia and Alabama right now, the ACC is Clemson only, the PAC 12 is becoming more evenly distributed in power and the Big 10 is in its infancy stage of becoming a conference with more parity, with Purdue and Michigan showing some improvement, instead of it being Ohio State only.

I just hope the “experts” can recognize that a one-conference-loss team from one conference may not necessarily be inferior to a team with one conference loss in a different conference. With the current system in place, that is their challenge.
