Common knowledge that Obama didnt like the press. The difference is he didnt decide to make an entire campaign over delegitimizing the first amendment for his own political gain and as a way to negate shortcomings. To be a President you have to have an outsized ego....but clinical narcissism is a totally different animal.

Obama Is His Own Biggest Supporter, Mentions Himself over 100 ...
Former President Barack Obama, well versed in the art of self-cheerleading, doesn't want to be forgotten. His grand reintroduction into the political scene during a speech on Friday revealed that leaving the White House has done little to diminish his characteristic arrogance.

Watch Obama Mention Himself 63 Times in Just 100 ... - TheBlaze
If President Obama's detractors like to sling any charge at him, it is the charge of excessive self-regard. His speech at the funeral for the late Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii is now being used as a means to buttress that assessment, given that President Obama mentioned himself in said speech ...

If it's starting to sound like Obama made frequent mention of himself, that's because he did. In total, we counted 76 references to himself during his 33-minute address. the press said that his speech sent a tingle up their leg. The only thing they didn't do was suck him off.

Potsy...sorry, Dave. Let's call a truce like I want with your buddy, AKTLE or whatever the *uck his name is (he's probably drinking now so not around but I am sure we will hear from him tomorrow). I get that the old man's brand is in trouble but I dont really think you are helping. We all get that you dont think past your own life span but some of us actually care about the future and what comes next. So, forgive the select few of us you will see on a WV message board that advocate beyond our immediate selves. Most of us dont have to because we have good jobs in urban, forward thinking, markets with robust economies. We arent dependent on a savior claiming he is going to save something. We actually made moves for ourselves. Politics never factored into our thinking. Motivation did.

Obama The Savior? - Accuracy in Media - aim.org
ABC News' Jake Tapper has noticed an alarming trend by the media to make Barack Obama out to be some kind of Savior. General election project for Political Punch readers: Let's keep track of ...

Is Barack Obama the Messiah?

The Gospel of Barack Hussein Obama According to Mark is designed to initiate the reader into a meditation on what it means to be human, what it means to be a manifestation of God, and how Barack Obama is a unique and important manifestation of God's desire for human flourishing.

Obama Christ: Our New Lord and Savior has Arrived!
The Church of Obama Christ has since been formed as a way for the world to worship and praise the new savior. He is the direct reincarnation of Jesus Christ and was placed here by the Holy Spirit. The end times are near and you must repent your sins to the Son of God, Barack Obama.

Why does this guy still keep linking weird sources of someone that has been out of power for 2 years? Focus on the CURRENT president and congress. Obama is yesterday and has largely stayed out of politics other than the obligatory election month stump speeches. Get some new material. Lame.

It might have something to do with the thread being about Obamas rally today. Then again it is hard to tell because my focus is stuck in my lifetime.

They should have covered him honestly and without bias. They didn’t and they don’t, and they step their game up everyday. It’s not a fight they can win unless they just stop covering the President. He owns them and he exposes their bias and corruption and I love every second of it.

Prager has an interesting observation that Trump is the left’s nemesis personified. He doesn’t fear them and their identity politic assaults. He refuses to apologize, be beholden to their approval, or accept their construct of acceptability. They’re systematically destroying the 4th estate before our eyes. Watch any of the networks, they’re all openly politicking. It’s not even subtle.

Don’t jeez me, I’m not the one who made the comment. It’s clear to anyone who reads the board that those on the left believe us on the right are disposable human beings. Read some of it. I think it’s funny how brainwashed most on the left are to believe something that absurd.

They truly believe we’re racists? Why? Because we don’t single out issues based on race. We’re actually concerned about all Americans regardless of race. The left is nothing but identity politics, ie. race based logic, ya know, in other words, racism.

They think we’re xenophobic bigots, get this, because we want to ensure we have laws to protect the sovereignty of our nation. So xenophobic.

I love the rhetoric from the left. It tells me you all learned nothing in 2 years, and you’ll lose, again.

“You all”, yet you Blah Blah Blah about how “the left” lumps the right together.

I thought Trump was racist long before he ran for office. When he won, I actually thought he had changed in that regard. Now I’m not so sure. Hearing people that worked close with him call him out for it, it’s hard to deny it.

But all of that is irrelevant, imo. Trump’s character has been illuminated to me in many other ways in the past.....racist or not......doesn’t matter, imo, he simply can’t be trusted to care about anything other than his own fvcking brand.

The thing about the right that makes me crazy is the absolute judgement. I’ve spent my adult life listening to the right. I hear things about people’s “hands being out”, “bootstraps”, tightening the screws - they always need more tightening on criminals, on other nations. The one thing I’ve always hear that made sense and seemed absolute truth was about fiscal responsibility and market principles. Yet I’ve watched the right sell out on both fiscal responsibility and unfettered market principles.

As far as the other approaches to policy, I don’t agree with them, but respect them as being genuinely intended for the good of the nation.

I don’t think those on the right are any less American than me, but I think believing in absolutism is less American than being open to change and difference.

I’ve been reading this board for some time now, and that may be the most meaningless post of BS I have EVER seen on this forum. Do you honestly believe you think you have anyone fooled with that line of BS? You can’t name 1 thing, that Trump has done or said “long before he ran for office” ( as you stated) that would lead one to believe he was a racist prior to running for office. If so prove it. ....... just 1 thing prior to running for office. You far left liberals are completely unhinged.

for me, it was his attack of the Central Park five and his aggressiveness towards low income tenets in NY on two occasions that I remember.

As for his character, it’s been many things throughout his career as a con man.

And I don’t give a flip about what you or anyone else on this board is convinced of —- to think I do, only shows how Fvcking pathetic you are —- dickless

That Bullsh1t hasn’t gotten old to you yet?
Anyone using racial identity in politics vs the quality of their character is the very definition of racist. One party traffics in racial identity and it isn’t ours.
