WTF, I mean how obvious is it that the school just doesn’t want to admit fault goes beyond the SC coach.
The problem here is it seems likely the decision was made more around avoiding payouts to staff versus what is right. The fact that players are upset and not rallying around the coach tells me coaches may have some real culpability.I'm not picking sides my any means on this, but one of my closest friends started at center for 2 years under Ralph Friedgen and he told me that they did a required workout similar to that. He may have just had a condition and things tragically happen. But to say he was putting them thru hell may have been an exaggeration. There is some form of toxicity in every program, but obviously it will take someone dying to create resentment and bring out slander.

That would be a fair argument if someone hadn’t died. It looks like to me the players don’t think problem ends with an S&C coach.or that they are living in their safe spaces and couldn't handle someone telling them they aren't special or good enough...
