It's really difficult to discuss anything with you because you make up things that other people say. The economy in 2016 was better than 2014. The economy today is better than in 2016. That wasn't my point. My point was that the U6 numbers aren't what are reported as unemployment now despite your claim that the methodology changed under Obama. It didn't. Unemployment as commonly referred to is and has been the U3 number.

You still never answered how the LFPR is the same today as it was in Obama's last 4 years, but now there are more jobs than people, a claim you made.

Mule the whole point of the Left's argument is that this is still Obama's economy! That Trump's policies have had no effect and the improvement in unemployment is nothing different than what we saw/had under Obama. No matter how you try to reimagine or re analyze or re think the raw data, the fact remains this is NOT Obama's economy and none of his policies are at work now.

You can certainly believe what you want about U6, U3 or whatever U want, the bottom line is Obama's economy wasn't anything resembling what we have now, and the folks who now have jobs that Obama claimed would never come back are living proof of his ineptitude.

I respect that you don't view it the same way, but this is why we vote. I'm done discussing this with you. BTW, are you registered to vote?

I'm not arguing for the left. I'm trying to present facts as they stand. The economy was good in 2016. It's better now. The statistics quoted as unemployment haven't changed between administrations. The LFPR is exactly where it has been since 2014. I'm willing to listen to reasons why LFPR hasn't changed but the job market has improved greatly. My concern is that most of those arguments came from the right side of the aisle when numbers improved in the last administration. While the unemployment numbers have continued to improve, there's no mention of why those arguments are now moot.

OK. I just look at the fact we have the lowest unemployment since '69 yet the LFPR hasn't changed one bit from Obama? Logically, that just makes no sense to me. But as I said you're an adult looking at the same raw data as I am. It's a free country (for now) and you are certainly free to believe it's the same now as it was in '16...I can't talk you out of that.

I asked if you were registered to vote? Hope so. If you are and plan to cast a smart vote for Republicans and lower permenent taxes, a border wall, energy independence, and Constitutional Justices for the SUPCO congratulations.

If however you plan to cast your ballot for the Democrat agenda can you tell me what it is you're voting for?

Abolishing ICE?
Rescinding the tax cuts?
Blocking the Wall?
Impeaching Judge Kavanaugh or Trump?
Sending jobs back overseas by cancelling our new trade deals?
Imposing new mandates onto the ACA?

What? Just curious.

I'm looking at the stats. It's the only reason I believe LFPR is unchanged.

I'm registered to vote. No Senate seats are up in CO this year. My district is represented by Doug Lamborn(R). I haven't fully researched where my vote goes in that race. We have a gubernatorial election. I can't say that I'm impressed with my options there.

I tend to think that the government should try to stay out of social issues as much as possible. I tend to think that fiscal policy matters too. I try to be as blind to party as possible. The national policy of the party doesn't matter to me because I'm going to vote for the candidates who tend to agree with me on the bigger issues. I quit buying the party koolaid from both sides. It's just a means for most of them to get their face on tv.

Dang that's not even Q level decoder and ya'll have issues.

  • Rosenstein had went after Trump in the past, but now is contained? Agreeable? Cooperating? I don't know what to call it, but he's not deep state now.
  • Nearly everyone else within the DOJ that had been in the effort to remove Trump has been removed themselves, or is cooperating in some fashion.
  • The third IG report, the unredactions, the text messages all are cleared for release, but yet haven't. In the meantime, Republicans have pulled even w/ Dems on the generic ballot. They haven't needed the ammo of the releases in order to do so. They might let it play out at this point, or may drop a bomb when necessary. We'll see.
  • The loonier the left behave, the better the generic ballot looks. So keep kicking Dems!

Moe, as a gay man how do you feel about President Trump? I would imagine you would give him some credit considering he has supported gay marriage. Not like Obama who was against and then for it.
