To get away from the politics and allow our liberal friends a chance to rejoin the conversation. Do you believe in ghosts? Do you have any ghost stories?

Personally, I have to see it to believe it in regards to ghosts. I've experienced a few semi-creepy things but nothing that makes me believe. My microwave sometimes turns on buy itself but I think it's just broke haha. Nevertheless I find stories from others fascinating.

Give your best ghost story.

Here is a favorite of mine about Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln

British Prime Minister Winston Churchill loved to retire late, take a long, hot bath while drinking a Scotch, and smoke a cigar and relax. There is an account that on this occasion, he climbed out of the bath and naked, but for his cigar, walked into the adjoining bedroom. He was startled to see Lincoln standing by the fireplace in the room, leaning on the mantle. Churchill, always quick on the uptake, simply took his cigar out of his mouth, tapped the ash off the end of his cigar and said "Good evening, Mr. President. You seem to have me at a disadvantage." Lincoln smiled softly, as if laughing and disappeared. Churchill smiled in embarrassment.[13]

Yes, and because the answer is yes, I don’t do ghost stories or scary movies.

Ok. Now I am a believer. Just saw the ghost of Moe who was presumed missing/dead after the Kavanaugh confirmation.

Seems to be a common theme for people that believe in ghosts.
People that were terrorized at 3 years old and made to watch the Jason and Freddy movies by their older siblings? Yea. Last scary movie I watched was The Ring. Had a loaded M16 during the day in a tent with 10 other Marines. Still scared the **** out of me.

I watched them too, but later in life realized ghosts aren't real. You want to be scared? Alimony payments will soon not be tax deductible. That's some scary ****.

Took the historical tour of the Transatlantic Lunatic Asylum in Weston. If you're a history buff, I'd highly recommend it.

Followed that up with an overnight tour. I can't say that we saw anything. We did hear sounded like foot steps on the 3rd or 4th floor where the nurses were housed. It was plain as day - we were sitting there just listening and you could hear what sounded like hard soled shoes walking across the wooden floors. And it wasn't just a brief second or two, it was like someone was walking from one end of the hallway to the other.

Never found those to be scary...The Exorcist on the other hand kept me up a few nights as a kid.

I loved watching Freddy & Jason as a kid. Most horror movies like that don't scare me. The Conjuring movies are really good but creep me out a bit.

I was talking to a city of weston engineer at a lunch the other day and the conversation moved to the asylum. He said a couple years ago during the summer every night a bunch of crows....like 200-300 showed up every night to the lawn of the asylum and sat in circles on the lawn for a while until they flew away at the same time. Not sure if that is odd or creepy or just coincidental.
