Why would WVU ever wear black?
Stick with blue shirts, gold pants, and a blue helmet for home games and go with a white jersey and maybe white pants on the road.
I remember one time Dick in 2001 decided to wear white pants at home for the game vs VA Tech. WVU actually took the time to change from gold pants to white pants before kickoff after warmups. Va Tech won 35-0. Translation it did NOT help at all.
This is the thing I like most about Saban at BAMA. They wear a crimson helmet, white pants, and the jersey is either crimson or white. Regardless of what they wear, they play great defense, great special teams, and very sound to now great offense and beat about everyone they play.
I remember a few years back BAMA played at GA at NIGHT and it was a "FEARED BLACHOUT". It was also 35-0 at the half BAMA. Color schemes don't make for better play.
Spend that money for the unis on developing better defense. I know I sound like "old man get off my lawn0 but I'm right on this.
