Good lord, why would Blumethal be allowed to serve in Congress since he lied about serving in the vietnam war?

If these accusation are totally false and made up, it’s a tragedy for many reasons.....least of all would be his inability to coach girls basketball, imo.
If the accusations are true, then I’m fine with a man of questionable character and lack of sexual control not being able to be in a position like that, even without normal charges being pressed.
I skimmed the article, because it’s all dependent of what’s true. So if I missed the point of the article (like the fact that the background check for coaching is proof he didn’t commit the Ford assault) sorry.

I’m gonna go ahead and surmise that you haven’t researched Kavanaugh’s life at all, have you?
I know:
- He was council under W’s admin.
- He clerked for Kennedy (which was a big plus for him , imo)
- Georgetown prep, and some religious hs
- Yale law
- Mother was a public school teacher
- “Orginalist”
So that's ok for the USAToday to infer that he could be a pedophile. Seems legit.
Yeah, I didn’t get that at all from this article. It was more about how he stated he might not be able to coach any longer, and whether that’s an accurate statement or not based on the Ford accusations. I’m a coach and teacher, and I have no problem with increased scrutiny into those that hold positions in any schools. Denying someone doesn’t mean they are a pedophile, but it can be used to protect against potential issues.
So you don’t know that much, ok.
He has one of the strongest records for pushing female clerkships amongst either party, extremely strong advocate for women, and has had 60+ women from all aspects of his past come out in support of him, including staunch liberals.
This ******** is so outside his character it’s offensive to even me.
Yeah his list ignores basic stuff like the several times his decisions have been used by SCOTUS in their opinions because of their respect for his jurisprudence.

Yeah I haven’t whined at all about the pick. He clerked for Kennedy, and I think that’s a big positive. He’s ok by me......unless he’s another jaggoff that thinks men have the right to aggressively **** with women in a sexual manner. Like our current President.
Personally, I wouldn’t deny that the accusations are politically motivated.....I wouldn’t even deny that they are made up. But I don’t know. And I’m not letting CNN or the digital wizards of all life like you and Dog tell me so either.

Sure. Every time I watch JFK I cry. Almost every time I’ve toured Arlington National I cried. And during the birth of my three kids, I cried. But most other times...like dealing with fools.....I punch something, but as I get older I’ve gotten better at laughing and walking away.....never to think of the fool again.

Hahahaha do you always take the destruction of your political reality through honest fact based information so difficult? You posture yourself as someone who is informationally driven to principle not principally driven to information. I believe that’s true about you. Very similar to Mule in that regard. Instead of blowing off an article like that one, do some real research on the man. There is a reason women who know him, from his past to present, from both sides of aisle are outspokenly defending him in the wake of this nonsense.
Any political figure can trot out a chorus line singing that tune. I’m not screaming for his head, I’m not even saying he shouldn’t be confirmed. And even if the Ford accusation did happen, he could be a much better man in maturity.
I just don’t automatically paint the Dems as evil, I don’t automatically paint accusers in these situations as liars, and I expect the Senate to be vicious in these confirmations (the position warrants it).
Fair enough. If it comes out that this was just a smear attack on Kavanaugh will you admit that the actions by the Dems was evil? If it comes out that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted women I will certainly say that his actions were evil.
I don’t know about evil....I’ll say Ford certainly has no morality at all, and I will CONTINUE to call for changes in Democratic leadership.
The future leadership of the Democrat party is looking no better with the likes Kamala and sexual assaulter Corey Booker. Let it be known that the Democrats are fully aware of the legitimacy of the accusations being brought forth against Judge Brett Kavanaugh. I would truly define that as evil if the allegations are proven as a smear.
Does it seem logical to you that a parade of bi-partisan WOMEN would come out in support of him? Does it seem logical or credible that the accuser has zero corroborating evidence and can’t give anything but an accusation? Her close friend denies being at a party with him. Mark Judge denies that it happened or his presence there or hers for that matter. Couple all of that with the Democratic “strategy” of roll out?
How bout this, when this house of cards crumbles, do me the favor of applying the same level of disgust with your own party that you do Trump, because this is worse than anything he’s done.
How can someone who approves of the destruction of a person and his family with no evidence that corroborates the allegation be allowed to teach children? Would not want BoomBoom teaching my kids anything.
