Game #1 in the NFL......and Tavon stood on the sideline (except for punt returns) and saw minimal action, and Kevin White is listed as 2nd string.......dang......I would have bet my life earnings that both of these guys would have been NFL starters and major contributors.......

NFL sucks anyways. I never watch it. You can see the scores and headlines Monday. It’s a waste of time on Sunday nowadays. After watching college football Thursday night, Friday night and all day Saturday I’m good. I also always go to big school games Friday night. I refuse to invest myself in the boring NFL. Why give those liberal losers ratings. NFL is like CNN fake news nowadays.
Tavon Austin never mastered the craft of route running.
Meaning that 4.3 speed won't get it done in the slot if your QB doesn't know your exact timing on your routes.
Great WRs like Tim Brown and Jerry Rice were able to master the art so the QB could not even look at him and know where he was.
Don't know the reason for Tavon Austin but Sean McVay with the Rams used him in the backfield a lot because he couldn't be used as a slot WR.

First year he has played. Injured the first 2.
Tavon 2015 was his best year. Has gone through 3 QB changes and 3 coaching changes. Never was used correctly.

Never been a big fan of the NFL, but I always check in on the former WVU players. Not many did much yesterday. Tavon has never caught on and White is buried on the depth chart. Nothing from Gibson either, after a very strong preseason.
I could care less about any of these guys after they leave WVU. I don’t watch NFL. Fantasy football has kept the NFL following going. Other than that it would have slipped a good bit the last 20 years. If your a grown man following a bunch of overpaid liberal NFL idiots you need to get a life. While I dont agree with kneeling for the reasons they do for the anthem, there are way more worthy reasons to boycott the NFL. Honestly, if they didnt point it out, I wouldnt even notice those dudes kneeling because I tend to be enjoying the anthem and watching the fans stand in unity together. I think they would be better off to use social media to get their point across than kneel tho. But more importantly they should study policy and how it has affected the black community and then they would find out whats up.
The NFL has been going downhill and turning into a drama fest since Goodell took over. It started with players getting in trouble in private life. He wanted to lay the law down on it and the result was that football news turned into Springer for jocks. All you heard about was this player and that player getting in a fight at the club, etc, etc. It was stupid and not really something you really want your kids watching. But now, halfway to flag football, its really starting to suck. It has turned into the ref show. Before long games will take 5-6 hours. Its stupid. If they want to end helmet to helmet, go back to leather helmets. That'll make them think twice lol. Otherwise let the dudes play.

The issue for folks like me is refusing to stand up out of respect for an anthem has traditionally been to protest the nation as a whole. It's what happens at the Olympics when regimes like North Korea want respect. Folks may disagree with other countries like UK or Canada in how they marginalize free speech (Actually placing fines and jail time for offending people by not referring to them as they wish). However since there is more good than bad in those governments most still pay the anthem, and thus the country as a whole, respect. So even if that is not these players' message, it is how a not insignificant part of the country view it. I can't just throw around a commonly used racial slur and expect people to not be offended because I claim to mean something else when saying it. That's not to mention the fact that many folks just want actors, musicians, athletes to not cram their politics down the audience's throat.

These two are surprising along with Karl Joseph with the raiders. Not sure why he is in Grudens doghouse. Quinton Spain has had a nice career on the TN OL.
