No it isn't. Where Black people were mistreated in the South they saw signs that read "colored only". My Dad grew up in Alabama where racists called Black people "Nigras" and it was a term of 'respect' from Rednecks.
The most insulting thing in that video is the suggestion that Black people have to live in a world where they should first consider themselves inferior and need the 'talk' to talk themselves out of it! Black people think they're as normal as anyone else. The ones who think they always need help and are oppressed are Leftist racists, who get mad at Black people who don't think they're oppressed by Rich White Republican Christians.

I saw parents teaching their kids about things they would have to deal with throughout different decades of American life. And it ended with the desire that conversations like that would not have to be had at all.
Nothing in the “ad” indicated that there are not other conversations that have to be had between parents and children of other races, religions, or backgrounds.
My father had a conversation with me, when I left to SC after high school, about how West Virginians are often taken advantage of by employers due to their perceived loyalty, strong work ethic, and lack of intelligence.
Racial profiling is a real thing, I’m pretty sure, I think it can lead to dangerous situations on traffic stops in some areas of the nation.

because it involves only people of one race...in order to make it totally fair let's have one with some hispanic folks, and , yes, some white folks too. Unless you are living with your head in the sand you have to realize that there are places where the same things that happened in that ad happen to white people......take a stroll thru sections of Richmond, or DC, or NYC, or Chicago......racism exists in all parts of our society....why doesn't someone ever bring up the tension between blacks and hispanics...it sure exists around here where I live because of jobs

I never said it is restricted to blacks, I’m saying that the “talk” about what you should do when pulled over is probably different for parents with kids that are racially profiled than kids that are not. This ad shows the conversation with a parent and child addressing profiling and the dangers that come from it, and those dangers are real. So, I don’t get the whining over it. The desire to end these “talks” is a good thing, which is the point.
