was watching highlights of WV-Maryland from 1988 and I couldn't help but utter a heavy sigh when I saw those wonderful Old Gold and Blue plain and simple uniforms that the players wore then. They were both elegant and intimidating. The Product changed them some and then Holgy changed them some more. My absolute gag me one is the all yellow banana suits. I'm sure this may be somewhat generational but what is your favorite uni combo? In addition to the 1988 version I always liked the all blue unis......ok....fire away

It's completely generational. Our uniforms are conservative, simplistic, look great to me. The kids hate them. It's not important what I think, it's important what they think, so we will be jazzing it up next year.

played Williamsburg GC Monday...pro shot 69 from 6600 and I had 86 from 6100...pretty good for me....those A1A4 greens were slow but you could have eaten lunch off the grass anywhere...even the roughThought these were your all time favorites

I found that course o be a little disjointed. Poor flow to the course. However, we finished tied for second.
I think you are referring to the pick numbers were the edges of the numbers are sharp?
Call me a curmudgeon but I preferred the old unis (80s, like referred to in Post #1). If we'd have stuck with them when the trendiness towards flashy unis started we might have suffered for a bit because the kids like the newfangled ones but after awhile it would've become a brand and a good one. Do the kids that play at PSU or ND or Bama, etc, fret over the unis or do they say, great, I get to play in these classic, immediately identifiable unis? I don't know but I'm hoping the latter.
I can't put the unis on Holgs, the wackiness in that department started long before he came along.

I very much liked the all blue and all white (with stripes) unis from the PR days.....though I could do without the bat wings and stylized numerals.
What I don't like is mixing up combinations of navy and gold and white jerseys and pants. For me, pick one combo for home and one combo for away and be done with it; and I wish we'd stick with one (preferaby navy) helmet.....though I admit I liked the coal themed uni and helmet myself..
Oh and I'm with Sled in that the all golds/bananas should be burned (and the ashes buried for eternity). But on balance, uniforms are something I honestly don't fret about very much.

I don't care what the uniforms/equipment look like, as long as they protect the players and proudly display the flying WV.
