For the first time, I'm thinking Urb may be in danger of losing his job at Ohio State. It's not a guarantee but he may be having more trouble..

And what will seal it won't be that Urb allowed Zach Smith to beat his wife and never reported it/fired him or that Urb lied publicly about what he knew and when he knew it, but what may seal it is Smith's behavior while on the job. According to Brett McMurphy this guy Smith was having sex in the Woodrow Hayes building with football staffers (yeah I know reportedly Dick did that too in Zona), was having $2200 worth of kinky sex toys delivered to the same Woodrow Hayes Building (just the sound of that is sick and out of place), and Smith was taking pics of his junk in 2015 again in that office and while visiting the White House (But I'm sure Slick Willy did that too)!

Makes me wonder WHAT DOES ZACH SMITH HAVE ON URB TO KEEP HIS JOB AS A WR COACH WHEN ALL THAT IS GOING ON????

The embarrassment & the shame of the situation, NOT THE WIFE BEATING, may be what cost Urb his job. That should really embarrassing be embarrassing to everyone.

Especially if Ohio St keeps him. The vocal opposition in Columbus is attempting to destroy their program.

If Meyer stays it could put Ohio St at a huge disadvantage recruiting Nationally.

I originally thought that as a certainty, if that severe. I thought he'd actually be back by the game vs TCU.

Now I'm only 60/40 on that. I think if more of this weird stuff from Zach Smith keeps coming out, then it may drop to 50/50.

Yup could happen. I would love to see it Ohio State fall and crumble. Iowa State should be put on alert for 2019 if this does happen.

Matt Campbell would take the job in an instant.
Mainly because of how hard it is to recruit at Iowa St.
Problem with that is Ohio St may not be looking at Matt Campbell unless they have to.

He would be a Top 5 choice but not their top choice.

After another day I'm back to my original thought. At worst he gets the 1st two games off and "returns" for game vs TCU. Yeah as if he's not coordinating with the interim HC and current staff. This is gonna be like when NASCAR or NAPCAR suspended Chad Knaua for a race and they later found out during the suspension, he was siitting in an RV at the track watching the race and making the calls over the phone.

The part that cracked me up was when the Janet Reno looking lady said they felt he held a high regard for the safety of women. Yeah, not until it was brought up 2 years after the fact.
