WV native Wesco moves to starting fullback

He was competing and was 1st team TE but was competing with Haskins who is a pass catcheing TE. Wesco is just huge at 6-5 272 pounds of muscle. They need him blocking and he will move people. He will be a nice replacement for Wellman. Wesco is a monster and a WV native. Wesco is going to block on the line sometimes as well but will be the starting fullback. We need a monster like this blocking. He’s a big dude.

Other fullback is WV native Elijah Drummond from Bridgeport High in WV. Drummond is a redshirt sophomore. His younger brother is a backup offensive lineman. Tonkery brothers also played at Bridgeport High. That’s a good program. I would like to see current Bridgeport High star RB/LB Jake Bowen get a scholarship to WVU. He’s easily good enough. He’s a bigger Tonkery. Get him offered.

A lot of teams will motion their players before the snap and then use them as a lead blocker.

Wonder if DH will use a lot of diamond formation.
It helped OU last year with Flowers who could do almost anything on the field

That is called an H Back.....if he is not on the line.

Good for WVU. This is something that I think a lot of Big XII teams have gone to recently.

You should study the evolution of offense.
It has always been called an HBack.
The position went extinct for a long time but has recently returned to become a dominant position even in the NFL.

Once someone finds a player who can do it and wants to do it

Jake Locker was maybe the greatest Football player who never was
That is a former first round pick
Put him back in the 40's and 50's before the evolution of the QB position and he would have been a Hall of Famer.

Locker was actually a better version of Tebow without the elite intangibles.
Faster, Stronger with a better arm.

Doesn't mean whites are not like that because like I said a lot of peoples of Central and Eastern Europe have that same ability. Especially the Southern Slavs.

You should do some research about genetics and how genetics can change over time based on chemical reactions when muscles are constantly strained.

Meaning people who do not have these genetic traits can be like this but they have to work harder because of genetics.

If American whites only wanted to be football and basketball players the NBA would drop from 80% black to 40% black. Whites play 10 different sports. Blacks only invest their talent in football and basketball. NFL would drop from 60% black to 30% black or lower. White people play too many different sports. Baseball is white dominated in USA. Same with tennis, soccer, softball.......

This has nothing to do with superiority.

Swimming for example.
There is a body type that makes a person a better swimmer. This includes longer limbs, longer back and bigger feet.

Are those people superior?
In swimming they are with the proper training.
Doesn't mean someone with a different body type or genetics is not suited for something else.

Just like with long distance running
People born at a higher elevation tend to have bigger and stronger lungs.

If you add to that longer legs you tend to find better runners.

My entire point with the LB can be totally proven false by someone who has quicker reaction speed based on what you call instinct.

Former Texas Tech and Miami Dolphins LB Zach Thomas is a perfect example.
Over looked because they felt like he wasn't fast enough to play at Texas or Texas A&M in the 90's

The LB position has evolved in CFB that you need fast twitch athletes.

That doesn't mean a Josey Jewell doesn't have a place.
Jewell can get by in FB because he has a strong work ethic and because he can see the play develop.

A better athlete who can see the play develop will always take a player like Jewell's position


There is nothing racist to say there are more Blacks who can at 245 run a 4.55

I guess there is something wrong with the US Department of Defense discriminating against people with a certain body type because it has been proven many times that all expert snipers are 5' 6'' - 5'-9''.

When the US Army decides who to send to their school they go by height and weight first.
Not to mention people of that size are better at concealing themselves.
