The assistant in question says Meyer knew when it happened. Meyer came out yesterday and said that he knew about it earlier and took, "appropriate steps". It sounds like the horseshit that came out of State College a few years back.
If you know the guy is beating his pregnant wife, or beating her period, you fire him on the spot. It reflects badly on the institution and the program. Unless Urb approves of the practice, of course.

The assistant has NEVER been charged with any crime. It has been reported that Meyer and his wife tried to help the assistant with his problems. It also has been reported the Meyer informed his superiors of the assistants problems in every abuse event. You need to keep in mind that Meyer never abused anyone.
Meyer was point blank asked a couple of weeks ago if he knew about it and he said no.
He obviously lied.

What part of "has been reported" don't you get? I have seen that info on several sites.
Yes....he denied knowing about the allegations to McMurphy. It's also on record that he did know and reported the incidents. In the end he is only guilty of lying to McMurphy.
