So then you support a balanced budget amendment, zero based budgeting, making the tax cuts permanent, and eliminating the departments of Education, EPA, Commerce, Interior, US-F&WS, Labor, OSHA, HUD, HHS, and all the rest of the alphabet soup swamp waste along with entitlement reforms right Coop you fraud?

I'm for some of what you list, but not eliminating entire departments. Guess what, no one in the GOP is for everything you posted. With a GOP House, GOP Senate and King Trump in the WH, our deficits are escalating so quickly the Treasury Dept is inventing new ways to borrow money. Yet you set back and lavish praise. Talk about a fraud.

Well if it's all the same to you Coop I'm pissed at any politico who talks fiscal responsibility then spends like he doesn't know how to count! I'm not going to deny I'm very disappointed the Republicans have not yet cut deficit spending enough to balance our budget and begin the much needed reforms in entitlements, but this is why we vote. If this crew doesn't get it done, we'll send some others in there with the courage to do it.

How many of them will you be voting for Coop?

In my area? Not a single incumbent.

Actually being racist depends on whether you're in a position of institutional power and enact and enforce such policies, be it govt. or corporate. If you're a person who doesn't like people of another color or ethnicity you're just a garden variety bigot. There are more than enough of those wandering around.

"Racist" and "Racism" are about the most misused terms in modern discourse. You've got to have clear grasp of what it is before you can discuss it.

Webster's is a dictionary that defines popular usage, TarHeel. Try cracking a good textbook on either sociology or poli. sci. that explores what racism actually is and isn't.

Sounds like eggheads trying to change the meaning of a word to me.

Nope. It's been that way since I was in college 40 years ago and it's still taught that way. If you wish to remain ignorant, that's your prerogative. If you're not afraid of the truth look into it. Sociologists have been flogging that horse for decades, go to the library and ask for few basic books on the subject. It won't kill you.

The Left throws around the word so much even they don't know what it really means. Now you're racist just if you disagree with them.

I don't care if the word is bigot or racist. If you generalize another person because of any single trait of their's, including skin color, you are in the wrong. No less than if you're a person of power, and make a decision based on that generalization, it's all wrong.

Now to Trump. He's more of a race baiter, IMO, than a racist per se. He did business with people of all ethnicities for years with no problems, but he used race baiting and fear of foreigners to help form his base. Whether he's an actual racist or not is yet to be determined.

What's a "race-baiter"? Would that be like Keith Ellison or Maxine Waters or Reverend Al Sharpton?

Everyone on both sides of the aisle loved the guy before he announced he was running for POTUS. That’s why the left always look so fake. All they do is try and tar and feather every opponent that goes up against them while having no substance of there own. I mean what’s the lefts message? We hate trump....laughable
Lol, really? I do think most intelligent folks had him pegged as an insecure buffoon before his fanboys elected to pledge their fealty to him.

Al used to fit the profile in his Tawana Brawley days but he's toned it down. George Wallace, was a prime example, after losing the Governor's race in Alabama to a Klan supported firebreather in the 50's he declared, "I'll never be out-n*gg*r*d again!" Wallace actually was a racial moderate in the South of his time. He also toned it down after his second run for President.

Strom Thurmond kept it up for years, hiding his mixed love child while he was doing it. However Thurmond was a racist in the full definition. Bob Byrd was a racist who recanted, but I don't think he ever gave up his core beliefs? Lester Maddox, David Duke, Louis Farrakan, Elijah Muhammed? Racist to the core.

Ellison and Waters I don't know enough about to give an opinion.

Hey Keyser, Bernie was the "Fanboys" choice among Socialist Left Democrats last election cycle, why did your side squeeze him out in favor of that Hag?

Wasn't he really the "popular vote" choice on the Left?

That's what the "Dixiecrats" were in those days. When Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act he told his staff afterwards, "It's the right thing to do, but this is the end of the Democratic Party in the South for next fifty years."

Lyndon knew politics inside and out. He, Nixon, and Clinton were the most politically astute and deeply flawed Presidents of my lifetime. It's as if you can't have one attribute w/o getting the other.

You also realize it was Northeastern Republicans who out voted those Southern Democrats and sided with Johnson to pass the '64 Civil rights act?

The Democrats of the South were still fighting to maintain Jim Crow. Lester Maddox, Bull Conner, the KKK and Co were all life long Democrats!

The crickets are deafening !!!! 6 hours and counting ???

6 hours? Try like 30 days! The contest ends Saturday, Sept 1 at 3:30, when we start smackin' heads with the Vols. Will I lose approximately 150.00 of my hard earned money to some Leftist who will simply "redistribute" it? (on second thought they just may keep it for themselves like they do additional taxes they never pay)\

Well, only about a day or so left Shirley Knott...got any pesticide for all those crickets chirping?

Dont see anything he has done as racist or race baiting. His immigration policies are not race based. They are more based on countries we cant get good information from. His prison reform and economic policies have done more to help blacks and to a lesser degree hispanics than any president in our lives.

The actual challenge was for specific policy or legislation Trump proposed or has passed that is racist. To the Left, Trump being alive is racist.
