That’s a damn good question for Rod Rosenstein since he had all this several years ago and opted to not prosecute. I wonder why now?
My guess is, when Rosenstein is called, he will say he isn't allowed to comment about on going investigation. Seems to be the default check for bogus govt investigations.
You obviously haven't been paying attention. Rosenstein passed on prosecuting Manafort about 12 years go for this exact same thing. He will be called.
