but it was a tweet, so......is that an order or what?

And it’s not like we haven’t seen this momentum gaining over the last month or two, as Trump and his flunkies have softened this ground over and over.

Some see it as just a tweet. Most see it as obstruction of justice.

Based on what's I've heard coming out of the Manafort trial.... yeah, it's time to end the ********.

Keep investigating from an FBI perspective, Russia's attempts to mind fuc# our country, but it's becoming obvious there is nothing there when it comes to Trump and Russia.

I’m not saying there is anything there, but I have no idea

This far into it however, we are beginning to see a pattern and it's not unthinkable that Mueller is not finding much of substance.
Legit point. But I like that I’m not hearing much coming from the SC office. I don’t want the left or the right dissecting the information until the SC finishes.

Lol, as if any one on here knows what Trumps GOP DOJ and that longtime Republican Mueller has on Donnie, ya gotta be pretty stupid not to see it for what it is and connect the guilty tweets together, Donnie sounded a bit defensive last night confusing his fanboys and their fat wives and girlfriends, thank god our military ain't that heavy and white. GOP surrendered to that racist base they used to keep on a leash.

What I can't figure is that it sounds like they have everything on Manafort to put him away for a long time...why not try and get a deal? Did they offer him a deal?

I'm pretty sure that the SC has the goods on Manafort regarding tax evasion, etc. but Manafort was also in the meeting with the Russians in Trump tower. Manafort could get a reduced sentence if he rolls on the so called prez and says that Trump knew about the Trump tower/Russians meeting prior to it happening which puts Trump in on the conspiracy (Collusion!). I'd say they'd need more than Cohen's testimony to same. The whole reason to pressure up on Manafort is to get him to roll on Trump, right?

Yes. He said no.

They had all this on Manafort years ago. They used it to try and leverage him against Trump and he said no, take it to trial.

That’s a damn good question for Rod Rosenstein since he had all this several years ago and opted to not prosecute. I wonder why now?
My guess is, when Rosenstein is called, he will say he isn't allowed to comment about on going investigation. Seems to be the default check for bogus govt investigations.

No, but this is Whitewater all over again.

You really think so? I might be in your camp if not for the ever increasing mound of evidence. No smoking gun yet but who knows what the Mueller team has. Why rush it?

My issue is that even if he finds the Trump team conspired with Russians to hack the elections even in a handful of states, nobody on the right will care. I don't think his base cares if he breaks any law.

Yeah, I do. Whitewater started out about questions on real estate deals and devolved into Lewinksy and Perjury.

Mueller started out about Trump collusion with Russia and is devolving into Manafort Bank Fraud and Stormy Daniels and Perjury.

Different premise for the initiation of the investigation, imo.

Absolutely, but what's becoming on the investigations is far from their initiations.

****.... or get off the pot.

Manafort is but 1 (or 2) case. There are others.

And not one dealing with Trump colluding with the Russians.
Huh? Mueller just found other people to prosecute. You merely wish that the Trump/Russia collusion investigation was over with.

I wonder if the President can now order anything via tweet, just for effect? A pardon? An investigation of an individual or business? A tariff? A nuclear strike?

Or do we just take the President’s tweets aaas just extemporaneous?
