It's shameful and disgraceful that irresponsible parents decided to break our countries laws by attempting to enter our country illegally, thus forcing our law enforcement to follow the law of the land.

Also, there sure is a large ratio between bad parents and kids. Is it common in Latin America to have 28 kids?

"Trumps Baby Jails" a headline I saw from England, it isn't the law of the land but I understand Trump told ya that so keep on keeping on, it's a winning strategy. This is the same country that elected Barrack twice, you think ya'll are building a coalition for the midterms?

Where was the outrage in 2010, when the Obama Administration filed the paperwork for these Tender Age Facilities?

@Keyser76 can you comment, please?

Did Rachel Maddow cry on live TV back in 2010? @Keyser76 ???

Lol, use that in a campaign ad, who gives a ****, only the deplorables keep looking backward. And you wouldn't have been outraged would you? I suppose you support Obama on that? You dumbasses can't see the forest for the Trump tree.

You didn't answer the questions. 1. Where was the outrage back in 2010, when the Obama Administration filed the paperwork for these Tender Age Facilities? 2. Did Rachel Maddow cry on live TV back in 2010? Additional Questions: 3. Were you personally outraged back in 2014 when Obama separated children from parents? 4. Can you confirm that all kids currently being held actually were accompanied by parents, when the adults decided to break the US Immigration laws, by attempting to enter the US of A illegally?

I ain't answering your stupid questions about the past, I'm posting about today, W nor Obama did this, I'm saying go ahead, keep defending it, it's a stupid policy that only appeals to a narrow base and it ain't good politics for your party heading into the midterms. W gave us Obama and Trump is mobilizing Democrats even more pointedly, I could give a **** about your perceived snowflake, "But what abouts....."

Yes Obama did. Liberals don't want to focus on the real problem, welfare for everybody. Make it mandatory that nobody here illegally gets any government assistance and the border crossings will dry up. No healthcare, no anything from any state or federal govt. Anybody crossing has to have a sponsor who's agreed to pay for their expenses, like it use to be.

The best way to end a bad law is to enforce it. Hopefully, both parties come together and pass legislation to keep them together on the other side of the border.

There is a 20 day limit on how long they can hold children by law. If the parent is seeking asylum, that process is usually longer than 20 days. If they are going to hold the parent until the decision on an asylum case, they would be breaking that law.

None of this is easy. I would prefer a solution that kept families together while still being able to have them go through the regular process. The psychological impact to the kids is huge, and I don't like that we are doing that to so many. My other concern is with reuniting those families. If Mom gets deported and the kids are in the foster system here, what happens then? If the foster parents want to keep the kid and files legal action to do that, what's the deported parent's legal recourse? Are they going to have any help in getting that info?

Hopefully, there is a way that the deported parent can get the kid or kids and take them back to their country of origin. It would be completely stupid to not let them take them back.

What else was in the fix? The claims about voting against one thing in a bill is silly.
THE and an increasingly growing number of "conservatives" are uninterested in any policy/governing and only in to trigger the libz, whine about a culture war, or get a PHD in whataboutism. Good luck and godspeed.

Stop blaming TRUMP.

Dude is a good man, and one helluva great President. Trump is kicking *** and doing great things for all of us.

Place the blame where it rightfully belongs, which would be the Congress. Most of our problems stem from the fact that we've had a do-less Congress for the last decade, perhaps two decades.

I want Term Limits, and I want them now. Professional politicians are placing this great country of ours in a state of complete chaos.

Coop has been wrong for 2 years, and is trying to recover any semblance of credibility however he can.

Worst #TDS case on the board.

Looks like they (Team Trump) are doing the right thing and caving. How this was ever thought of as a winning strategy or how it took 3 days to change their minds is baffling to me.

Dude is a good man? Ask some former business partners about that or a couple of ex wives. Support his policies if you want. I have no beef with that. Calling him a good man is making things up. He doesn't fit any definition of that.

That isn’t true at all. It’s 100% true as it relates to the Russia probe unless something beyond a perjury trap presents itself. Hasn’t yet. You all earn every bit of triggering on this one, so you can respectfully blow your comment right out of your ***.

With respect to policy and governing, it’s pretty clear what i want. I’ve said it, numerous times. I’m for anything that will work to those ends. Securing the border is high on my list.

I want to see something substantive. You just saw stupid Schumer on TV saying the President could fix this and Congress getting a pass. They shouldn’t get a pass. They broke it, it’s high time they fix this ****. I want it on Congresses plate to solve.

To be clear, I’m not even blaming Schumer and the Dems specifically, but they own most of it. Schumer said he’d rather not work on a solution and have the bad PR for Trump. Fine. It’s the Republican’s job to lead and develop of consensus. Make no mistake with the Dems though, they are 100% playing the game with these kids right now, and frankly, it doesn’t bother me. I know those kids are in better shape right now than they were with their own irresponsible parents hands. If I’m executing strategy for the President, the entire Congress would be shamed into submission but they would absolutely be the ones required to solve this.

I didn't recall mentioning you with that crowd. I don't see how someone that wants to secure the border could see this week as a help to their cause. Luckily, I'm 90% sure the Democrats will overplay their hand, but why even run the risk? Hold them together and deny their asylum together. Simple as f.

Russia investigation? Yikes.

I'm sure there are some bad parents in this process, but to lump all of them together as bad parents is just you trying to make yourself feel better about what's happening. Some of these folks are seeking asylum in order to protect their children.

Trying to make myself feel better? I don’t feel bad and haven’t.

Trekking my kids across Central America and Mexico and subjecting them to the horrors of the cartels and other human traffickers is not what i’d call good parenting decisions, Gus. GTFOH with that ****.

I did some research and found out President Obama separated young children from their parents and kept them in cages sleeping on concrete floors wrapped in foil.
