I called to drop them and they gave me such a good deal I kicked it down the road.
I called them to try to get a "deal", and they offered me $5 off per month. I laughed at them. They weren't amused with my sense of humor responses and the conversation ended quickly (on their end).
I am doing just fine with Fireboxes, sling, netflix, and Amazon Prime... and CBS all access for a while. Oh, and digital antennas.
My concern for dropping them is my sports package. I watch the Cavs/Reds. I know some offer regional packages. Plus WVU games that come on ATT Pitt would not likely be in my coverage area. Which would suck.
Yeah, I've got to figure that out soon. I may be barhopping it for a few games.
If you figure it out, let me know please! I really only watch like 10 channels (or less) and hate having to pay what I do to D-TV.
I have netflix, prime, hulu, DTV now and a 10 buck a month DTV family plan with abou 30 channels. No antennas.
Borrow a friend's login to get you ESPN, Fox games. Only miss those hideous Root games. I did it for years before AT&T gave me DirecTV Now for $25 a month. I think the price is now $70 a month or something. FSM bless AT&T.
I just cut the cord. My FiOS bill went from $278 to $64. I have my FireStick. I’m usually fishing on Saturdays and listening to the game on my boat.
PSvue has the best packages......plus they allow up to 5 streaming devices. Most of the others allow only 2 or 3.
How is their app? I am ok with DTV Now but their app is atrocious and often takes 5 minutes to load. It works ok once it starts.
Great....I cut the cord 18 months ago. I use Roku's with PSvue on five TV's. The stream was sluggish until I invested in a router that could handle high speed internet. I have a little problem with my TV in our kitchen ONLY when the microwave is being used. I have also used a Firestick and it works well.
