Are you missing this intentionally? I'm not talking this issue specifically with respect to Trump. We can take something from his first day in office when he claimed that he had the largest inaugural crowd in history. He was wrong, but stood behind it. We can go to any of a ton of issues where he emphatically stated one thing, then completely reversed course - relationship with Cohen and reimbursing him is another one.

My point is that you make fun of a guy who hits people for a living because he contradicted himself. Where's the complaints about the President contradicting himself or verifiable facts?
You need to pay closer attention to some of my posts. I have basically said MANY times that Trump says some ridiculous ****. I would advise him to zip his lips and stop his tweets. But guess what.....I'm not his advisor and he wouldn't listen if I were.
However...I see NOTHING wrong with his statement about players disrespecting our NA and country.

I understand the NA issue, and I can see the perspective. If I were advising NFL players, I would tell them that kneeling is a bad idea because it distracts from the purpose of the protest. I think they have the right to do it, but I think it is ill advised.

Earlier you were asking where Colin was during the Obama administration. He started the protest while he was still playing in the NFL in 2016 - during the Obama administration. Having said that, I've heard some political pundits, fair ones at that, say that they have reached out to him to let him speak on the issue on radio and/or TV. He hasn't responded to those requests. Colin's donated a fair amount of money and time to causes he supports. I don't think he's a bad person. I likewise do not think that he is the most effective spokesman for this issue. If he were, he would take opportunities to speak about it now.

I never said fire anyone. I just happen to agree with President Trump about disrespecting the NA and our great country. You obviously enjoy it when people disrespect the NA and our country. Which way do my want it? You agree with Kaeperdick and his ilk......I disagree. You can have the Che and Castro loving *******.

Ok, so the players are disrespecting the country for kneeling.......but the people in the restroom taking a p!ss or deciding to go to the concession stands during the anthem, the drunk-a$$ MFer in front of me that's cursing and things, are not?

How did you feel about the Vietnam vets who threw their medals away? Was that "disrespectful" as well?

Drawing a comparison of NFL players who make millions to play a game with that of combat veterans of a war they fought in and were angry at.

Hahahhaha you never fail to disappoint.

I'm ok if players want to give money to whatever their cause is....good for them. My main beef with this whole deal is that it was all about Trump from day one. When the media started reporting on this...it was Dem vs. Repub. And even though Kaepernick started it when Obama was in office....we heard nary a peep from ANY players or coaches about President Obama's action or inaction about Kaepernicks concerns. Suddenly it all morphed into a very, very anti Trump mantra.

Trump made it about Trump........and he had a chance to "stand up" for America during the Vietnam War......he chose not to........

First......The TV cameras are not on people taking a piss or in a concession stand line.
Second.....I doubt you know jack **** about the Vietnam experience.

Let you and I hope that we both can do what is he is doing when we get to be his age. I'm getting close....but I couldn't keep up with him.

I think the Military doctors made that choice. And money can magically heal many ailments.....you know what I mean?

Bullsh!t......keep saying that, doesn't make it accurate......

Back in 1968, at the age of 22, Donald J. Trump seemed the picture of health.

He stood 6 feet 2 inches with an athletic build; had played football, tennis and squash; and was taking up golf. His medical history was unblemished, aside from a routine appendectomy when he was 10.

But after he graduated from college in the spring of 1968, making him eligible to be drafted and sent to Vietnam, he received a diagnosis that would change his path: bone spurs in his heels.

********.....You have NOOOOO clue. Who do you think "deemed" him unfit for Military service.....Santa Claus? A person not does deem themselves unfit. The Military makes those decisions. And he is NOW serving....as the Commander in Chief.

Keep kneeling and sucking........it's up to you whether you spit or swallow........I think it's funny how you defend this man. He's healthy from age 0-22, graduates college and gets bone spurs, Vietnam War ends and then he's healthy again........how about that? Miracle, I tell you.....a Miracle!

You realize you could be 4Fd for things like asthma, flat feet, poor eyesight, and even some routine allergies, right? The standards changed throughout the war but in 68 they hadn’t lowered the bar yet.

With that said, he probably did get a doctor to issue a medical deferment. By the way, have you served?
