I don’t know if he should be impeached but I truly don’t understand how Rosenstein has the audacity to believe he doesn’t have to comply with legislative oversight. Dangerous behavior and behavior that should see him fired.

For what it’s worth, a voice often cited in support of President Trump, Professor Jonathan Turley, said the idea of impeaching Rosenstein is “frivolous.”

Impeaching Rosenstein has nothing to do with the President and what is Congress supposed to do when an executive branch defiees their constitutional obligation to provide oversight. If any AAG were doing this as cover for a republican president the left would be screaming.

Witch hunt!!
Who has oversight of the FBI? The House. Who can demand an investigation of the FBI? The House. Who can refuse to do that employed by the FBI? Nobody. Needs to be fired for insubordination.

I agree, but the FBI and all of the Govt agencies need to be brought to heel with Congressional oversight. Congress is the governing body of their organizations.

The part where this is a huge issue is the FISA documents. Congress legislated the power and they oversee it. Not adhering to oversight suggest they have something to hide which is exactly why oversight exists.

Agreed, but I also think we should acknowledge we are in pretty strange times. All that said, I trust Gowdy far more than Nunes and his clowns and he doesn't seem to have near the problems with DOJ as those stooges. Problems? yes. Hysterical articles of Impeachment and firings? no.

lmfao, "I will not be extorted" This administration fights with itself when they have all three branches, the problem is all those pesky laws regarding separation of powers and checks on the chump! Imagine when he has to deal with a Democrat controlled branch also.

How can they control all 3 branches due to demographics?

Except when the Ds control Congress.

As long as the DOJ/FBI are doing what they should be (ie, not political), then there's no problem.

PS> Still not convinced either way that they're acting political now or not. I thought it was theater up until the Rosenstein back and forth. Maybe the house just is that dumb.

(Masking/slow walking is because of ongoing investigations)

I'm convinced they (FBI DOJ) are not being political. I am convinced there is a guilty man sitting in the White House accusing the FBI and DOJ of being political to hide/disguise his guilt. I'm convinced there are a few in Congress who defend the guilty guy and are acting like accomplices because the guilty guy has an R behind his name, just like they do.

Comey admitted the FBI acted with political motivations with the Hillary investigations. Comey's notes created no need for a special counsel, so that was political also. The admission and special counsel action means there should be retribution. Whether they still are based on politics or not, or plain ol' CYA, is to be seen.

Of course you are convinced that you can be whatever race you need to be to allow you to hurl racial slurs wiithout consequence so I take your conviction with a grain of salt
