It's pretty sad when the Senate Majority leader attempts to obstruct a vote on a bi-partisan bill to protect someone from an unjust firing based on political motivations.

It doesn’t need to go to the floor. This is a Democratic strategy to ensure Mueller has authority in infinitum. He shouldn’t have that first of all and secondly, I’m not sure how many more times POTUS has to say he isn’t going to fire him. POTUS has complied with almost 18 months of investigation resulting in the turning over of 1.2 million documents. He was investigated for an additional 6 months prior to his notification. There will be an end to this charade and it will be much sooner than the Dems think it should.

From a Machevellian stand point, this attempt isn’t even remotely cloaked. It’s extremely transparent what the strategy here is.

More importantly, when does the Mueller thingie go away? He's been on it for well over a year and so far there's not been a shred of evidence of collusion happening between the Trump campaign and the fmr Soviet Empire.....soooooooooooooo yeah.

Other than the meeting between Junior, son-in-law and campaign manager with Russian assets about Hillary dirt. Not sure I'd claim there's no shred. It will end soon and I still think either Jr or Jared gets charged with something before it's over.

Exactly.......but you are wasting your time since dealing with a very unreasonable person.....someone that can't figure out what "almost" means and has zero clue what "prior" means.

Which goal line am I going for here? The one where Liberals insist Trump is guilty of collusion and has been being investigated since July of 16 when PapaD shot his mouth off in a bar, the one where Comey officially informed the President of the memo in Nov of 16, the one where Comey told him he wasn’t under investigation in Feb of 17, the appointment of the SC in May of 17, or the one where Rosenstein said he wasn’t nor had ever been a target in Apr of 18?

Just need to get straight on which version of reality I’m responding to. I’ve got 3 ******** saying 3 different things.

How do you know what evidence they have? Are you on the team?

Special counsel investigations usually go on for many years. One year would be lightning speed.

This isn't your father's special counsel investigation. In this world of all electronic communication and bank records being captured by the feds, this investigation was over within a couple of months.

Meullers team is pretty tight lipped. Nobody heard a peep about the Cohen raid until after it happened, for instance. The leaks come from other places.

2) Flynn info leaked
3) Grand jury info leaked

Even WaPo has said he has a leak problem.
