I admit I have missed a few over the years with WVU football.
I think we have good reason to be optimistic for the 18 Mountaineers on offense.
I think the much maligned defense plays with a chip on its shoulder all year.

10 Wins .... And it begins with a beat-down of the Vols.

I don't predict WVU W-L records. I just root my heart out for my alma mater every game. And all the pre-season publicity helps me get to the opener, when I can evaluate for myself. This kind of chatter does help me get through what they call baseball season, though. There is only football and basketball for me, and only WVU in both.

I know..I KNOW..the pundits will NEVER give us ANY cred,IF we win "THE 12". The B12 is down this year OK is off, OKSt is off, TT is off... So no matter how much we win..we are ABSOLUTELY going to have to Big, BIG STYLE points..So this could set up well for JA. IF we can keep our injuries limited,we MAY be alright.. But I want to set "the EXAMPLE" on the Vols!! I won't make any predicted outcomes.I think IST and Tejas..could be our achiles heel. They both are up and coming programs..not to be taken lightly.Our home schedule sets up nicely.

Lot of tossups & few surefire wins. Hard to say from here.

Looks like a success vs another middling year with multi NFL players hinges on November, which looks rugged.

7-6 with a loss in some desert bowl game and a collapse in November. DH gets new four year extension among promises to lead WVU to the promise land once he gets his system and staff firmly in place.
