Anyone impressed with Loyola?

I’m not. I’m not sure who had the easier path; Michigan or Loyola? What a disgrace on the unbalanced brackets by the selection committee. Obviously they wanted Virginia. Look at that garbage in that region. UMBC, Loyola, Nevada, KState, Miami, etc.

Actually Kansas State had the easiest road but they blew it.

Not sure what it takes to impress some of you. The Final Four is a huge achievement. Period. Does it take beating a 1 or 2 seed to not be an easy path? What if you beat a 15,11,10, and a 1? Is that an easy path?

Well I kinda hope Loyola wins it all. Don't think that is possible with KU and Nova in the mix. I certainly will root for them over michigan. No love there for sure.

But seriously, I think there were better teams in the NIT this year than most.

You could be right 80ate, but I'm holding out for possibly a pretty balanced back-court with Beetle the leader and the addition of a promising Knapper and McCabe...

If Sags learns to control his emotion and matures in the off season, Culver comes in as a better back up than Bender or Routt ...

Not to Mention

Esa assuming the leadership with the much stronger work ethic... and West, Harris and Teddy make up their minds to do it Huggs way....

Maybe next year is a pretty good year as well...

WVU could be Final 4 next year if everybody comes back that is supposed to because Culver, Knapper will be major impacts and McCabe should be best true freshmen guard in years. He’s just so smart, competitive, hard working and talented.

We have a deep roster for next year. It’s going to be a better, older team.

Guards dominate college basketball these days, and losing two senior starters, especially your best player and hardest worker, is going to hurt. The roster overall might be older, but it won't include more than one senior, and the lead guards are going to be green as grass, so a Final Four appearance is a pipe dream.

Unfortunately, this is a very true statement.... I think next years a struggle.... WVU will be lucky to make the NCAAs. I hope im proven wrong.... but these past two years were the best chance for a Final Four/Championship appearance.

Loyola didn't just beat K-State; the Ramblers crushed the Wildcats. This was the biggest surprise, considering that Loyola won its three other Tournament games by a total of four points.

I would'nt say that any trip to the Final Four is a cakewalk. Loyola won 2 games at the Buzzer. There trip might not have been the most conventional but they beat the teams in front of them and that's all they could do. They beat a pretty good Tennessee team and a K state team that beat a Kentucky team that ran us off the floor in the 2nd half of that game in Morgantown. Michigan crushed a T&AM team that crushed us. If we had Michigan and Loyola draw and made the Final four I doubt anyone on here would be complaining.
