that this spending bill moved forward and will likely be signed if it hasn't been yet. Lordy, Rand Paul grandstands every time a piece of legislation appears before him. Then he proceeds to fall apart like the Pitt Basketball team. From what I can tell, this bill is full of special projects and pure pork. My God why rush a massive spending bill through where nobody can possibly read it and certainly not understand it/ Seems to the Ryan and McConnell preferred method though.

Actually, that's how both sides in power have done **** for a very long time now. As POTUS just said, and I'll paraphrase, it's ********. He'll never ever sign another one like this, so he's put them on notice.

Put them on notice for what? he doesn't seem to understand how Government works. Imagine how easy he will have it when you lose the house, lol.

100% agreement. The revolt this November will be seismographic. A political earthquake. EVERYONE will be voted out of office for who voted for this boondoggle, and if Trump's next budget later this year is anything close to this monstrosity he might as well plan for his retirement in Mar a Lago in 2020.

Lol, who ya gonna vote in? The Democrats? It amazes me how ya'll win one election and it is this tsunami sea change all of a sudden, a squeaker at that, hell, my guy won two terms and I knew it was still the same America that gave W two terms, gotta broaden your appeal, compromise and grow your base. America never wanted a ******* stupid Wall, lol.

Would have to ask Putin. Putin is making all the calls, right? Or so I've read he is.

I only have two theories: 1. Need the run down military funded, in order to boost up readiness, in preparation of a couple potential wars. 2. TRUMP actually leans left, while dressing as an ultra conservative.

All I can say is watch the primaries. That's where angry voters make their positions and anger known. Incumbents this year can't be comfortable no matter what party they are in.

I think we all knew he wasn't a Conservative. His appointment of Judges has been surprising, but he is not an ideological Conservative. His appeal was as an outsider determined to bust up the way business is done in D.C. That's what voters will hold him and Congress accountable for.

Anyone that thinks Trump won the election because he promised a wall is a certified clueless idiot. I told this board there would be no wall. I also told this board that Trump will NOT be the POTUS in 2021. Trump won because people were looking for an outsider and the Dems and the media tried to jam an ******* down the throats of the voters. Most likely the Dems regain control of Congress in the 2020 elections and life will go on .

Who said he did? Can we laugh at all of the clueless idiots that voted for him and DO want a wall?

No the problem is that he can't think for himself. That has been my biggest issue with him and what scares me the most. He is a populist with no moral compass. Whoever has his ear at a particular moment determines how he thinks.

No problem. We'll fix it in the Fall...and fix him in 2020. It's our money, and we'll eventually get representatives in there who understand and respect that.

I am PISSED. Not done, but highly PISSED. We're broke, why are we spending money we don't have? Increasing debt ceilings, borrowing, increasing spending by billions? Is that what we voted for?

No. I'm pissed, and they're going to understand why when we go vote in the Fall.

I refuse to put this all on the republicans because the dems were surely complicit in their silence and their refusal to include DACA. There must come a point where Americans come together for their country vs this political game of football that we are playing now. We should improve border security (no friggin wall), we need to reform immigration to benefit this country by providing both intellectual capital and cheap labor. We need a path to citizenship for illegals who are here already. We need to reduce the size of government across the board while maintaining the retirement benefits already paid for by working Americans. We need to promote our economy and industrial base to become more efficient and less reliant on cheap Chinese metals. We need to find a way to provide reasonable health care at the lowest price. And we desperately need to fund maintenance and expansion of infrastructure without partisan BS.

Hopefully from this cluster of the last 8 years we can find a party that captures the sentiments of moderate Americans and move this country forward.

I'll be watching the primaries in my State very closely. I'm voting for folks who understand how much deep dodo we're in if we don't stop this runaway deficit spending. I don't expect many Democrats to understand that, few Republicans actually do, but I will vote for anyone of any party who does.

The problem is that dems won't be. We get the same tired poop show led by the Dems. Americans don't have it in them to throw out the vast majority of congress

I tried to tell you it was both sides -- what has changed to bring you to the conclusion? No disrespect intended, just curious.

I never said it wasn't "both" sides, but there is only one "side" I'm on. Voters who want to cut Government deficit spending and the size of Government. There aren't many Leftists standing on that side.

We get exactly what we ask for. A majority of Americans are NOT asking for Democrat control of Congress. They're not exactly enamoured with the GOP either, but I'm not hearing a call for tax and spending increases or more deficit spending. Quite the opposite.

We'll go to the polls with that mandate for our elected representatives in Congress.
