Marshall's strength in its first round victory, and I suspect during its season in the low-level C-USA, was spreading the opposing defense to the two sides of the front court, then going one on one by the Herd with the ball. That didn't work against Press Virginia because it's team defense, helping each other out, not my man only.. The diamond defense was genius, too. Classic Huggins. The Mad Scientist on the stool and his 10 pit bulls eviscerated the WVU wannabees. But Herd fans will figure out a way to make this a "victory" even though Marshall trailed by 30 till WVU traded minutes off the clock for a few points. Press Virginia is where opposing superstars come to die. Ask Elmore and Trae. If Marshall is foolish enough to want to play WVU again, come to Morgantown, as Huggins said, for the beatdown.
