Looks like Congress is steppping in now. I’m guessing he gets the pension. Everyone can see this was a political hack job. Sessions just hurt himself in a bad way.
The DOJ (not Trump) fired McCabe on a recommendation from the OCR (not Trump) due to lying in testimony and leaking classified information, found by the OIG (Obama appointee) due to a investigation demanded by Democrats.

It would be worth the pension to get him to testify against the rest of the hacks in the justice dept and fbi. By the way, if he's convicted of a felony, he does not get the pension. His wife is an opthamalogist, he'llbe just fine. CNN or MSN will hire him and he can offer insight into how you should never put things into an email that you wouldn't want to be read.

And there is no way, NO WAY, Sessions fired him unless that report recommends it. I do wonder if they could have waited until the whole report was released and still denied his benefits, or if this weekend was a drop dead cutoff.

I tend to agree with you. Sessions is really not suited for a job that requires decisions and movement. His attitudes and ways of doing things is in stark contrast to Trump and his aggressive, moving forward mentality.
Sessions is very methodical. It grates Trump and a lot of Trump followers. But it also makes statements like kkkountry up above absolutely ludicrous.
Laugh it up. There are plenty of NYT and WaPo articles discussing it, as did Comey in testimony.
Mueller is taking people out on technicalities on lying to FBI(Flynn). These must be prosecuted.
