Twice today, once in the Marshall game and once in ours, a defensive player was standing flatfooted in the "restricted zone" under the basket and the offensive player, also on both feet standing in front just bulled into and knocked over the defensive player. The defensive player was called for a foul both times. Though called consistently, is that correct?

While inside the restricted arc, the only option the defense has is to go straight up. You can not hold your ground and take a charge inside the arc.
