Is JC not a vocal guy? Seems like we miss Adrian’s leadership? I wouldn’t think it, because JC has such great work ethic, I’d figure he was a natural leader as well. Maybe he’s just not a vocal guy?Given the big lead's the mens team has given up this year, I was worried even at 28 points last night. It's confounding how this team seems to struggle in the 2nd half. Momentum had completely shifted until Dax hit the 4 pt play.
That's a good point. Maybe he isn't vocal. It has to be frustrating for Huggins. Is JC not a vocal guy? Seems like we miss Adrian’s leadership? I wouldn’t think it, because JC has such great work ethic, I’d figure he was a natural leader as well. Maybe he’s just not a vocal guy?

Interestingly, I read where Adrian played with a shoulder injury down the stretch last year that would have sidelined most people.
No lead is safe. Seems midway thru any second half, we suffer a drought and we struggle to find a hot shooter to bail us out.
Yes, we won, but we do have a tactical glitch. With a big lead midway thru the second half, we always change our half court game completely to run the clock out. JC sits on it until there's 10 seconds left on the play clock, and then we rush to get a good shot. Teams are covering us tight man coverage on the perimeter and they continually force us to take **** shots with no time left on the clock. Happened again last night with yet another drought. It's predictable as hell.We won.......get your panties out of your a$$ and lighten up. A road win, against a quality team in Baylor, and some of you just continue to b!tch because we didn't win by 40 points.
I think everyone here is glad we won. I don't care how many point we win by. However, I don't like it when we blow big leads. We won.......get your panties out of your a$$ and lighten up. I just don't understand, It's not like the other team has talented players with pride , who want to win the game also...I think everyone here is glad we won. I don't care how many point we win by. However, I don't like it when we blow big leads.
I'm trying to figure out what role West and Harris play. Both will occasionally sneak in a 3 early in the game, but what they're doing later on is a mystery to me, especially on defense. To me, the biggest issue on this team remains the lack of pure athleticism.
There's no question we have a bunch of good solid basketball players, and they're well coached. But (IMO) aside Sags.....who's typically stuck playing against opponents 3-4" taller than him (and obviously doesn't play with the ball in his hands).....I myself don't believe we have another thoroughbred athlete on the entire roster (though I consider Ahmad to be on that fringe).
Said another way, we have essentially nobody who can personally create. Even at the bottom of the conference (this year, like Iowa State), everyone seems to have at least a couple players (at guard and/or forward) who can physically make things happen with the ball in their hands.
Beyond that, it also doesn't help that we have one of the smallest backcourts in the country among, say, the Top 40.
That offense looked great in the first half. Running that low post screen game thing, moving, passing, they executed well. Second half didn’t have the same mo jo.I just don't understand, It's not like the other team has talented players with pride , who want to win the game also...
I think we are missing the Paige - Phillip dribble drive guy.....when things go cold, they iso and let them carry us for a spellTo me, the biggest issue on this team remains the lack of pure athleticism.

Plus missing a second beefy guy in the paint like Macon. When Konate is not on the court, we have no inside presence.I think we are missing the Paige - Phillip dribble drive guy.....when things go cold, they iso and let them carry us for a spell

I agree. I was pissed when Macon said he was going proPlus missing a second beefy guy in the paint like Macon. When Konate is not on the court, we have no inside presence.

Maybe if Culver had qualifiedWith all the issues Huggs had getting him to Morgantown to begin with, I myself think we were lucky to have gotten what we did from him before deciding he'd had his fill of going to class.
Is Macon doing anything? Overseas? I haven't heard a peep about him.I agree. I was pissed when Macon said he was going pro
I just know he signed overseas, can’t remember where. Is Macon doing anything? Overseas? I haven't heard a peep about him.
