If everything is on the up and up and these conspiracy theories are just sideshow tactics to discredit Mueller, why are so many within the headshed of the FBI getting fired, reassigned, demoted, transferred, and forced into retirement?

Everyone wants to leave cushy FBI management jobs. I'd rather be a stock boy.

Couldn’t there be many reasons for each person leaving?

Better money in private sector
Not wanting to work for the current President
Not ok with attacks against the IC from WH
Personal issues that could be vulnerable to a widespread investigation (affairs, etc..)

I’m not saying they aren’t guilty of corruption, nor am I saying Obama isn’t guilty of corruption, but I would think there would be only a benefit to the current administration for calling “forced retirement” what it is and not allowing resignations when firing is warranted.

If corruption is so widespread in this deep state apparatus, criminal prosecution isn’t avoided by resignation, correct?

I think using phrases like “up and up” and generalizing everything in a Trump versus Obama context can compromise the ability to get to the truth.

I think there could be a scenario in which both Presidents have to answer for serious violations of public trust.

Are you telling me that high ranking members of the DOJ and FBI do not get lucrative jobs in the private sector?
Sure they do, but I think you’re dreaming if you think career bureaucratic FBI personnel wouldn’t try to protect their pensions at all costs. I also think you’re dreaming if you think these individuals aren’t either in the middle of something or trying to protect their ***. I give zero credence to them choosing to not serve this President. If there is even a remote sense of that being reality, then they should ran out on a rail. That’s disgusting. They take an oath office just like I had to do, and trust me, there weren’t a lot of people in uniform thrilled with that last dipshit yet they still did their duty for the country.

I would be willing to bet that there are going to be somebody who leaves without being in trouble but doesn't want to be associated the the stink that is going to come down when all the **** hits the fan. Just having on your resume you worked with some of these guys could be toxic. I'm not sure how you can jump the shark on Trump with what appears to be out and out criminal activity by the DOJ and FBI.

I know that got out because of the shaddy **** being pulled by their superiors.

Then I hear stories from Secret Service agents......

So far - all I see are resignations and a memo that absolutely doesn’t paint a clear picture, at least for me

I think for you to have a clear picture, and the rest of the left, many of the people we are talking about are going to have to be taken away in handcuffs before you believe that the fix was in. People do not resign from high posts for no reason, people are not demoted from high positions that you can never be fired from for no reason. Who would have thought the last admin would use a govt agency against the American citizens? IRS is the first example and now we know that the fBI and Justice dept was used too.

I’ll settle for the FISA docs.

But the IG report could be enough to get me on board.

Huh? He’s not attacking the entirety of the institutions no matter how much you all try to paint it as such.

Those individuals he’s attacking seemingly deserve it.

Wray was appointed by Trump, made the statement about the Nunes memo being inaccurate, and Nunes hinted that it was “no surprise”. Trump backed that up. So, it is at times a generalized attack.

Even with these FISA abuses, there’s many involved if it’s true. The extent of which is unknown if true.

If a high ranking official retires or resigns, you have them pegged as dirty already. So, yeah...I think it’s an attack on the institutions

The corruption in not only the FBI but all government agencies will continue as long as half of the country allows them to in the name of partisan politics.

I guess all I can say is....we will see. I hope justice is done, honestly. At least the Democratic Party can start fresh, so I’m not against things coming out.

Comey, lied, Mcabe demoted, Ohr demoted, Stokz and huzzy won't be there for long. Rosenstein will be gone by the time this is over. Undermining a duly elected President should be punished

Boom I'm sure there is plenty of examples of men and women of government jobs leaving for more lucrative opportunities...but in this case all that is leaving has been proven to have there thumb on the scale in one way or the other . I like you would love to believe our government is honest to the core ...well unfortunately it is not , it is corrupt even in the little town I live in ...& I'm sure the town you live in has corrupt officials ....greed/power will make people corrupt & people who think differently are foolish ...republican or democrats they all have corrupt people in them.

All you have to do is watch the liberals in congress. We've seen what liberals will do in the IRS, FBI, DOJ and the Presidency
Speaking of the IRS, ............ former IRS executive Lois G. Lerner (most Americans have probably forgotten or lost track of the cast of criminals in the previous Administration) and her deputy at the IRS Holly Paz filed documents in court petitioning tapes and transcripts of depositions they gave in court, be remained SEALED IN PERPETUITY. The Government settled the case for millions of dollars after admitting to the ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR, CONTRADICTING THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION’S CLAIMS ...... AND there is wide spread belief that, .......... YOU AINT SEEN NOTH’IN YET.

Going so far as to say the IRS targeting scandal had ...... “not even a smidgen of corruption”. Barack Obama, February 2, 2014.
“ I will say that the thing I’m most proud of, Jake, is an administration now acknowledging that we have 6 days left or 5 days left that has been historically free of scandal ” ..........Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Denis McDonough talking to Jake Tapper on CNN’s State of the Union.
