I’m not comparing his action. It just needs to get to the point where political discourse is about issues, not which side you’re on. We were talking immigration. I’m not in favor of allowing only immigrants that had the money to pay for their spot in line being the only people we allow to legally become Americans.
I’m not advocating for a full on Ellis Island acceptance, but I want those that want to be Americans to have the avenue. I also think that we should be helping many nations around the globe develop, so the opportunity for people to have a great life in their native countries is more common.

There are documented cases of Obama attacking the media, weaponizing agencies within the Govt against its citizenry, attacking elements of the constitution on the regular, and assaulting the entirety of the US’s 4th amendment privileges on a never before seen scale. 1) The Patriot Act and bulk collection of intel on American citizens has been a very poor and anti-American practice that has been a problem since long before Obama - and I agree that Obama failed to own up to his promises when elected. Big reason why I didn’t vote for him in ‘12.

What’s to discuss on immigration. It’s real simple. DACA pathway to citizenship, enacting a merit based immigration system, ending chain migration, ending the lottery, and building the wall. There isn’t a discusssion to be had.
