Since he is unemployed.

If he did come back what would you expect from him.

I would rather see WVU hire one of these three coaches
Frank Wilson UTSA
Neal Brown Troy
Lane Kiffin FAU

I hope so. He built a good program here and i like to believe if he could do it all over again he would have stayed. There is nothing unique about what we do in this league.

He could recruit and he had momentum for WVU
Don’t know if he could create that again.

Overall DH has recruited as good as him. That is really what WVU needs to improve to win in the conference.

2 of the three I listed are great recruiters
Wilson and Kiffin
2 or the 3 have won 10 or more games
Brown and Kiffin

Lane Kiffin has a lot of baggage so he will not get the huge marquee job he wants.
As you saw this year no one hired him.

Unlike Rich Rod his baggage is not enough from keeping him from another job.
It will have to be like Mike Leach at Washington State

I know you are trolling, but, fine, I'll respond:
No.
But, in whatever his next job is (coaching midmajor, working at pizza hut, etc) I'd expect no less than:
1. Not be under the influence of drugs of medication:

Exhibit A.

2. Not violate Title VII or otherwise sexually harass the staff or co-employees:
https://www.azdesertswarm.com/footb...harassment-hostile-workplace-arizona-wildcats

3. Not open up his employer to liability for multi-million dollar lawsuits:
http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sp...ails-emerge-lawsuit-rich-rodriguez/109136548/

4. Not breach his contract and make up lies about his employer:
http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/football/index.ssf/2008/07/rodriguez_will_pay_west_virgin.html

5. Do better than a 24-30 conference record and not get fired by his last 2 employers.

Yup, that's what he'd need to do.

Since he is unemployed.

Do not know anything about Brown and Wilson. Can tell you I want NOTHING to do with KIffen and the Grant Town traitor. Never would I consider re-hiring RR. Search the news reports of when he bolted for Ann Arbor. Never want to see him represent our fine University again. He deserves no additional chances--he used up all his credit with his actions the first time around.

Without the new stuff? Why not?

Unfortunately his resume
will need to be treated like Chernobyl for at least 4-5 years. He will literally need to disappear and wait until people forget him. He would be a toxic/protest magnet hire until then.

Brown is the head coach of Troy.
He is a former Kentucky player who is from Kentucky. Danville.
He is from the area

Wilson coached at a lot of places as an assistant.
Was named recruiter of the year a few times at LSU.
He is only in his early 40’s.
When he was at Southern Miss recruited a 5 Star WR to a non Power 5 school.
Only has happened once and that was at Houston besides at BYU and ND.

Wilson has deep New Orleans ties.
All the players at LSU from New Orleans was because of Wilson.

Coached at UTSA for two years. Plays tough football. Defense and clock management.

His OC got a HC job at SELU and his DC is the DC at Alabama now

If he continues to improve UTSA next year you know it is Wilson.

In 6 years at Arizona, Rodriguez put a total of 2 players into the NFL. I think we’re better off with Dana. As hard as that is to believe.

You know West Virginia has the lowest amount of awards this year for their football players

Oklahoma has won the most individual awards in the 21-year history of the Big 12 with 39. K-State is second (32), followed by Texas (29), Oklahoma State (19), Baylor (14), Iowa State (12), TCU (8), Texas Tech (8), Kansas (7), and West Virginia (5).

According to the NFL draft.

That doesn’t mean they play.
If you are going to use the NFL draft you have to use the Undrafted Free Agents as well.

I much rather use the amount of players on active NFL rosters and WVU is not number 2

Is there a reason you’re here then?

Lane Kiffin wouldn't come here. He's like a dog chasing a car. Once he catches it, he doesn't know what to do with it. USC.....

Yes ... hotdog vendor. Only restriction is that he is not allowed near cheerleaders or any female real estate agents.

What is not being said on here is West Virginia is making 10-20 million profit a year in revenue in all sports.

I do not know where that money is going.
Trust and believe WVU can afford a big time hire next time around.
I don’t think they are ready to fire DH or even if they did they will give him a buyout.

WV like any big time school now can go pay a coach 6-7 million a year.
DH is only making 3 million a year.

Do you know how many schools pay their coach 6 - 7 millon a year? Not one school in the big 12 is paying a coach over 6 millon.

West Virginia can be the first.

That is up to the AD and administration.
West Virginia is making huge profits in revenue the last few years.
From everything I have seen and heard the Big XII will Report a second straight year of record media revenue.

Do the calculations.
Since WVU agreed to a contract with DH their revenue has doubled.

Not saying WVU should max their football expenses out on a coach because then you cannot make improvements and you cannot have a well rounded athletic department.

Just ask Bama if you do not believe so. Finally their basketball program found new life but since Texas forced Bama to give Saban 11.5 million a year their facility upgrades have declined as well as performance in other sports.
