True. This team has talent, and we’ve seen them play well...and suck. Maybe we could see them play well again. Wouldn’t that be novel?!
We are what we are. Don’t worry about the final record, as it’s unlikely it will be anything special. Let’s just see how the young guys come along and hope we’re better next year.
I said three weeks ago that, given the youth and talent on this team, they would be playing for the Natty sometime in the next four years, maybe even this one. How much Sweet Baby Ray;s will it take me to get those words down?
You and me both. I truly believed in this group. I’m just hoping for some sort of spark vs. Kansas State.
Make the tournament, hope it clicks in the tournament.

High NCAA seed? No chance, we will at best get a middling seed and at worst miss the whole thing. Regardless we live and die with our draw no matter what seed we earn should we qualify.
Hope for the future? This team goes as far as two senior guards will take them, and with the walls closing in we will ride those horses to the finish line, do not expect any new heroes to emerge.
So basically just pray we get in and hope we can upset a higher seed to get out of the opening weekend to mask the stench of a promising season that went sour.
