Esa had a good game against Texas Tech, and had another tonight......Teddy deserved his benching for his attitude, plus the kid isn't playing well at all and has no defensive skill right now.

West is horrible and so is Harris. No defense at all. Plus how wasn't Harris benched are losing his cool and punching someone?

If we’re as bad as these last 3 games we have maybe 1-2 wins left. If we’re not and we pull it together and play like we did during our streak (no we are not as good as that streak, but the sentiment is the same) we should win out at home and punch a tournament ticket and maybe find some new mojo there.

I agree with Harris......I want to tell the guy "there's a reason you are left wide open".......as for West, he just isn't working hard out there to get open. His problem isn't skill, it's HEART.

Esa looked good tonight, and missing the entire first half of the year people need to understand he's going to have to get his game together on the fly. He ran on adrenaline in his first game back against Texas Tech, and played very well. I felt tonight was the first time he looked like he did last year.

Teddy Allen is a freshman, with an attitude (which isn't a bad thing), but teams have scouted him on film and know what his game is now and he can't adapt to the way others are defending him.

JC is doing too much, and tonight I questioned him for the first time as there were 3-4 times he didn't get back on defense and they scored easy buckets.

I'm really pleased with Sags, but tonight I didn't see that "I'm gonna block everything" mentality and there were a few opportunities for him to throw them back and didn't even jump.

Agree on all except I suspect that Sags was told to stop trying to get his blocks up and worry about staying in the game which made him gun shy. There’s a reason he is blocking so many shots when he is not a 7 footer, it’s because he is over extending himself trying to pad his stats, he’s like Trae Young but with blocks instead of points.

this team is playing with a victim's mentality right now..we lost leads against Kansas and Kentucky and the whole team seems to be in a collective funk.

I agree except for one thing... the reason he is blocking so many shots is because every team now can simply dribble-drive us to the rim. We have no legs. No legs equals no hustle. No hustle equals no heart. The only chance we have from here out is to try to do something to save our legs more... like play more zone and use the press situationally.

That'd probably be best for him.

I do know one thing. Jevon needs to stop dribble driving (what the hail is dribble driving?) the paint to the point that he either has to take an off balance shot or very quickly find someone to pass the ball to. It is hurtful to watch this happen so often. Warez

They are no longer playing with a chip on their shoulder like past WVU teams would. WVU plays best when they are the underdogs and the backs are against the wall and was never given much attention during the year. Our best tournament years under Huggins occurred with our teams that played with this mentality.

You don't think Calipari is giving his team a bunch of hell because they are 5 star recruits and think they can get by on talent alone? No, he's probably telling them they deserve less stars and to start proving themselves. Kentucky will make a run deep in the tourney this year. Underrated Calipari teams usually do.

He will wait for the next loss, whether it be a blowout or a close game, to jump back on here......I figure a bunch of these types of posters are just chomping for an OU letdown so they can get back on here and blast Huggins......
