He hasn't really been able to do anything to them yet.
Actually he has but I don't want to get into all the specifics. If they ever pass a budget, you'll find the EPA's budget to be about 1/3 less if he has his way.

A budget with that level of funding cut will never pass.

The EPA is a double edge sword..as good as it can be, it can be as equally bad .....to much politics as with many things in government

The P stands for "protection", no?
Its just a name. The entire boundary of power for the EPA is the Clean Water Act and that may have expanded some with the Clean Air Act. The EPA has no power outside of what is delegated by that/those bills

Not enough but a good start.

Hey....a government agency doing their job....let’s praise Trump for that too
Assuming we get DACA resolved and immigration reform passed, gonna be getting harder and harder for you guys to continue shitting on him.

Style over substance, I guess. It’s cool. My wife bitches about tone a lot as well while we execute on the plan I develop.
There are areas I consider more pressing than the economy....stupid to you, I get it.....but I think you’ll see my position makes sense in time

I just finished reading the report that was released today. Good article on Wunderground.

I think we should bomb the **** out of Russia, China, and India and get those polluters inline. Add in Japan for what they do to the fisheries.

Don’t worry, there are plenty of people who believe a lot of different ignorant ****. I question your sanity and whether you should be allowed to vote because of that fact, but whatevs. You’re still a good bloke, your priorities are just whacked.

It’s pretty fvcked up. And I know that the US shouldn’t have to pay for compliance, but short of the Devil Dog **** em all approach, we need to get something done ASAP, imo.

I wouldn’t say my priorities....maybe my faith in science (in your opinion), but if you believe the climate change prognosis....I’d say my priorities are dead on in line.....maybe yours are a wittle Wackado?

If your priorities are environmental than trade should be your number one ***** .... only trade with countries with equal environmental & employee protection in place , then we wouldn't be paying to lose jobs . Wouldn't that be fair trade ? & if as a country we did that wouldn't other countries anty up so that could trade with us ?

That horizon is a ways out there, but we will begin seeing substantial financial impacts in our lifetime

We already saw financial impacts and while they made the moistened masses of psuedoscientists feel good they effectively did diddly squat for the climate.

It has been great for engineering too. The laws are ridiculous but between our biologists and scientist who do site investigations, ecological reports and all the other permits and other things required just to get a permit from the state (states handle water quality for the EPA in a convoluted way). If the state cant permit it the process for Army Corp permits is even more fun. Its good money just getting permission to build a site.

I’m selfish here, I want a clean Bay. North of the bridge is gross. I don’t get in the water. There have been significant strides made to clean it up and I donate to a lot of that. The rain Tax is retarded.

Anyone that puts anything ahead of the economy to the extent that Paris did with the expected minimal gain or is in favor of something based in idealism over impact lives in a different reality. I appreciate your passion, but you’re out of balance. I don’t think I’m that far from center, I’m not advocating a return to dumping raw chemicals in the ocean because it’s cheaper. There can be balance, but JFC, Paris was retarded. Paris was criminally negligent.

Mostly....I fall down for my kids often....they get their hearts set on certain toys, and it’s my weakness
