In their first public comments since ESPN speculated Friday that the New England Patriots' Kraft-Brady-Belichick era may be drawing to a close, all three tried to deflate the story.
In a radio interview Saturday, quarterback Tom Brady praised his relationships with Patriots owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick, despite claims that the trio have been feuding and there was turmoil among the five-time Super Bowl-winning team.

On Kraft: “He’s a great person, man. He’s been like a second father to me in so many ways,” Brady told Jim Gray on Westwood One Sports Radio during his weekly interview appearance Saturday.
On Belichick: “I have a great relationship with Coach Belichick. We’ve worked together for 18 years. There’s no coach I’d rather play for, and I’ve loved my experience here.”

Also on Saturday, Kraft told Sports Illustrated football writer Peter King that he believes Belichick will “absolutely” return to coach the team next season, and adamantly denied ESPN's assertion that Kraft, against Belichick's wishes, forced a trade of backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

“(A) total fabrication and fiction," Kraft said of the ESPN account. "I am telling you, it’s fiction.

As for Belichick, the coach affixed his name to a statement that the trio released Friday:

"It is unfortunate that there is even a need for us to respond to these fallacies. As our actions have shown, we stand united," the statement said in part.

The most shocking details allege Kraft forced Belichick to trade prized backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to reassure Brady his job was not in peril.

Kraft took special pains Saturday to deny putting any pressure on his coach to trade Garoppolo and specifically denied meeting with Belichick to discuss the backup’s future, a meeting the ESPN story claims took half a day.

“Until Monday at the trade deadline … the last time I talked to Bill about Jimmy’s situation was in a group with Bill, [club president Jonathan Kraft], [director of player personnel] Nick Caserio … a small group of us, I think in June,” Robert Kraft told The MMBQ. “That is the last time I talked to Bill about it. … I assumed once the season started, we’d talk again at the end of the season about it.

“The next time I spoke with Bill about it was the Monday before the trade deadline. He called me on that Monday and said he got a deal with San Francisco. … I was really taken aback a little bit. I wanted to think about it. I talked to Jonathan, who was OK with it, and I called Bill back and said, ‘OK.’ ”

So, you are calling this "fake" because they deny it happened the way it was reported? So, it couldn't be that they are trying to deflect to keep distractions away from the team and fans? Yeah, much easier to just say "fake"........everything is "fake" then........why not? It works!

Believe whatever you think.....I personally think some of this goes on in every organization. In this case ESPN is making a mountain out of a molehill in order to create a negative view......plus other factors involving the politics of Kraft,Brady, Belichick and ESPN. I bet you would NEVER hear this sort of story from ESPN if the Steelers had the same dealings going on in their organization.
Anyway....... I bet you breathlessly await your daily dose of the Ball family bullsh*t that ESPN is spoon feeding you......you sure fit the profile.

But I do remember a whole **** load of people being pissed because the Pats and specifically Kraft/Brady wouldn’t condemn/renounce their relationship with Trump. They even corrected the record when the media tried to fakenews the Super Bowl photo.

NFL? I thought we were boycotting the NFL because someone decided to take a knee during the anthem? I thought the NFL didn't matter anymore?

Why the concern?
