A thought on non profits

I think there should be a very low cap they can claim for over head to be considered a non profit ..any thoughts or facts on this that I don't know..i give to st.judes when I'm giving...and when advertising the amount of money actually going to help the victims of the charity should be put up big & bold

But a very good % of money taken in goes to the kids ...i just think so many non profits do it for the money & it makes me sick

Hard to cap, each one has different missions and different expenses. However, none should ever be over 75%

Something & I don't know what or how but it just pisses me off when I think what a CEO of a non profit makes ...
I'm not against the rich or people getting rich..just it's a non profit ..wish there was a list of what % goes to the good ..

They aren’t all like that, man. There are plenty of good ones where the directors don’t use them as money laundering operations.

I beleive Shriners have the highest overhead costs of any non profit.

They aren’t all like that, man. There are plenty of good ones where the directors don’t use them as money laundering operations.
Oh I know ..some are very honorable & doing just what they say & I know it cost to run them ..just wish there was more over site of them & would be more transparent on the cost/give ratio..a web site with a list ..

Bullsh!t. I say make Shriners pay just like everyone else. If families and kids cannot afford surgeries or procedures that may save their lives, using the words of one poster on here "good, thin the f**king herd a little"........:popcorn:

there was a study a couple of years ago...if you remember "Feed the Children" with some bearded guy as the spokesman.....89% of their costs were "administrative"....you don't see their commercials any longer though...probably caught up with them
