Seriously, why the extremely light coverage on Iran?

I’d think we’d be all over this opportunity to try and get some positive press towards overthrowing the extremist elements of Iran.

  1. Because Trump came out in favor of the civilians
  2. Because Obama gave billions to the regime

Ohhhh, you were talking online? Ok. Got it. I’ve read their stories, not much if any coverage on TV.

So, my question, why? Why are they so lightly covering it? Why are they covering it in such a biased and ******** manner?

So we’ve gone from no coverage to biased coverage. In your opinion. I just read the stories and I don’t see any bias. Just straight supporting. Of course, I live in reality.

Another thread about wingnuts whining about news coverage and they aren't even aware of what the reputable websites are covering. Rather they rather listen and read right wing sites pumping their heads full of ******** and conspiracy and then run over here. No wonder they support this piece of **** president, they act just like him.

I admire the presenting of facts to these dingdongs, doc. But we all know they only believe alternative facts and then make up lies to support their claims. They are a waste of time with their trolling.

When I made my thread, I was talking about on TV not the online stuff. When I realized you were defending the print side and not the TV side, I changed what my discussion point was to be on the same page as you. I’m trying to have a legit discussion about why the Iran thing was going so underreported and then absurdly covered to now it’s being covered but not pressed. If you’ll notice, in my OP I asked a basic question, you jumped to the babababut CNN defense like a loyal drone.

I’m not calling out CNN, I’m not calling out MSNBC, FNC, or the NYT. I’m just simply curious why it took the MSM being shamed by alternate news outlets to cover it. The MSM has a chance here to make a difference in altering history for the better. I don’t understand the lack of coverage this is receiving and pushing a narrative for regime change.

You do appreciate that there is no free press in Iran. No cnn reporters or other western journalists allowed in Iran. Reports have been sourced through “citizen journalists” via social media. Think that may be why we don’t have wall to wall coverage? Does Fox News have a secret team in Iran doing God’s work? Geez. Use some common sense.

I think it is strange also; it surely seems to open the door for use of a different tactic than what is now being used. Trying something else won't make the situation any worse. JMO

Funniest sentence ITT.

It's hilarious he blocked me because I told him he looks like a poor man's Hoppy Kercheval. (Which is true) He got very triggered on that one and went all snowflake and went running to his safe space ignore button lol

This isn't just about bread and gas prices
Front page of cnn site is loaded with stories. You people live in an alternative reality.
This isn't just about bread and gas prices http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/30/world/iran-protests-issues/index.html

CNN didn't mention it until yesterday on their website, at least on the front page. It had been a story for 3 days at that point. When they do finally mention it, they pull their photos directly from the Iranian government website, and call it marches in favor of the government.

Ha! Good one. When the facts aren’t in your favor, attack personally. Meanwhile, the OP has been shown to be full of ****. 5 different cnn stories about Iran posted since 3am. You’re welcome.
The facts are in my favor. I called you naive because it is clear you havent been paying attention.

Please explain. I’m not clear what you mean by different tactics and something else
Probably like giving them billions hoping they will give us a hug and shutting down investigations of their terror wing because it would make giving them nukes harder.
