Why did we punt with 2 min left?

Yeah, I know, it was 4th and like 30 from around our own 30 or whatever. But, in theory, there was a chance for us to win. The only chance we had to win with punting was if they muffed the punt + etc or fumbled on victory formation + etc. I'd rather go down swinging. There was a smattering of boos on that.

It’s not good to put your guys in a position where the DL can pin their ears back and the DBs can sit back 15 yards offer ball for an obvious pass and tee off. If there isn’t a realistic chance to win, and no I’m not talking a video game chance of consecutive Hail Marys and onside kicks, then it’s best to just get off the field and start prepping for next week.
