I think they'll be 2 changes for sure, and I think they're obvious (see Lubbock and Lawerence).

I also wonder if Gundy will leave for one of the many openings in the SEC. Other than against 1 school, Gundy has done well. He has done really well.

But when that one school shares the same state
and your record is 2-11 vs the school is YOUR biggest rival (not their's)
and you don't have a great relationship with the booster whose name is on the stadium you play in,
You may just look to move on if you can.

Like I said, I think the guy has done well EXCEPT against 1 school. Problem is that school is Oklahoma and they have a 1st year HC who is winning just like Big Game Bob.

Jimmy Johnson once said about coaching at Oklahoma State, "Eventually the Cowboys fans will realize you're not beating Oklahoma." This is why he said he went to Miami.

Only reason Mike Gundy would leave is T Boone Pickens

They do not get along because Gundy won't let Mr Green Parrot control the football program

Mike Gundy is an Oklahoma Aggie. Goes out snake hunting in the spring and even has the mullet to prove it.
Will never leave unless Arkansas calls and offers him a lot of money

Pickens declared his full support of Gundy earlier today. Looks like he is safe unless he wants to make a change.

I think Kingsbury is the only really hot seat in the Big Xii.

---I don't see how whoever is coaching in Lawerence can be safe. I honestly don't even know his name. They have ZERO wins vs anyone in the conference and do they have any wins vs a FBS school this season? How could that be allowed to continue-even at Kansas where basketball was invented?

---Kingsbury has to go barring him winning out. He has blown waaaay too many 4th qtr leads

----I think the 'great' Matt Campbell will lose his shine by seasons end. I think he's a decent coach but they lucked out and their good fortune ran out in October. They will lose this weekend.

----For health reasons & age, the Snyder may call it quits too. He is a treasure but time beats all.

----Even if the Oil & hot air king T Boone has given the vote of confidence (i.e. Kiss of death), Gundy may get an offer he likes more. Not saying it's a guarantee, but I wouldn't rule it out.

i keep saying snyder is going to retire, but then he fools me.

apparently kansas is going to make $350 million in improvements to their football facility, so they may be getting ready to take football serious.

i think kliff is a good coach at tech, but he needs a good defensive coordinator.

matt campbell is a good coach; i think he can be solid long term, but how does he recruit against Iowa and the rest of the big 10?

Let's see how good Campbell is when he doesn't have all those experienced Seniors on their team.

He did very well coaching Toledo. I also think that he's got a bunch of good recruits from his first class awaiting in the wings. If he says, ISU will become a serious competitor -- just like they are in BB.

Toledo is MAC.

2018 - ISU recruiting ranking 58th.
2017 - 52nd
2016 - 55th

He has shown nothing in recruiting that suggest he has good class waiting in the wings. Lot of JR college and 5th year transfers playing for him this season. More to come.

ISU has moved themselves from 8 or 9 to a 6 or 7 type team. The guy is a good coach. OU will not sleep on them ever again. Campbell will use ISU to jump to another P5 school, either Big 10 or SEC.
