I know a few people like this. Believe all the kneejerk diatribe they're spoonfed everyday from their 'sources'. And they wonder why we ignore them when they toss out red herrings out like 'all atheists hate god'.

Maybe. But let's take this board as a small sample size. Which one of the Leftists on here would you say routinely or even occasionally profess or promote a Love of God or even Christians for that matter?
This is a pretty diverse group, who fits the description you are trying to tell me is pretty common on the Left?

I'll ask you the same question bamaeer. Just among the Leftists on this board, can you point to any who either say they Love God or express Love for those who do? I admit I could be wrong about not knowing many Leftists who do, but I'm willing to admit my error at least among OT posters I routinely encounter.
Just because some of us don't believe in god doesn't mean we've all waged a war on god. In fact, I make it a point not to pry into people's faith. I pay no attention to it. So I have no clue who, if anyone has.
That's cool but OM1 said I needed to get out more because I told him I didn't know many people on the Left who don't hate God, so I asked if he could point to any on this forum who fit that description?
So now If the goal post has been moved to indifference because no one on the Left can honestly answer if they Love God and don't hate him you can add a bunch of Christians into that crowd.
It's telling to me though neither you nor him could counter my initial observation with candidates at least from this small sample size. You say you simply don't care but that wasn't what I asked him or even stated for him to counter by suggesting I needed to get out more...ostensibly to discover more Leftists who do in fact show affinity for Almighty God.

I probably know a few center-left leaners, like myself, who do believe in god. I don't know people on this board personally, so I have no clue about them.

He suggested in the previous post I didn't know the true meaning of the word athiest so I assumed he did.
I honestly don't know any atheists/agnostics who care what Christians believe, so I don't think 'amped up' applies.
