No idea what this is about, but wasn't this in Texas? The state likely to choose the shortest legal path to get a gun?

We just set up a background check policy for employees in NY having access to DHS-regulated chemicals and we don't flag for 'court martials' per se. Instead, we have a list of crimes (sedition, fraud, etc) that you have to be found guilty of in state or federal court.

How about common sense measures? Magazine size? No bump stocks?

It's like this country (read NRA) has sat around and thought "what can we do to make it easier for a nut job to kill as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time?"

Oh I know, bump stocks will allow you to fire off about 600 rounds per minute, larger magazine capacity to reduce the time someone is not firing when changing out magazines, noise suppressors - make it more difficult to pinpoint a shooter's location....

I think the bump stock is a no brainer. Don't have a problem with suppressors. Don't have a problem with selling anymore large clips. mental health issue, will it hinder people getting treatment if they know your identity will be shared? Limiting the purchase of certain guns in number over a certain amount of time .
