I understand that the Camping World venue is pretty poor. Wouldn't mind the match up with NC St though.

not so sure we even make a bowl. got to win one out of last four. of course the fact that that would put WVU in a bowl shows just how meaningless and ridiculous these minor bowls are.

I thought you needed 6 wins to get a bowl.....doesn't look good for us.....

You can get in with 5 if there are not enough teams.

Texas turned down an invite last year from the St. Petersburg Bowl with 5 wins that eventually went to Miss State who was another team with 5 wins

They use APR rating for the 5 wins. The rating is based on graduation rates and movement towards graduation.

those extra priceless practices have really paid off for the Mountaineers don't you think sport?
Just imagine if they didn't have them
If you do not have a bowl game then your team can't practice until spring ball
It is very significant when attempting to build a program

and just think what the program would be like if DH had achieved some real success. Most bowl games are participation trophies and cost the university a ton of money. Of course the exposure before Pitt like attendance out in the desert are a real treat lol.

I would think any WVU fan would like to see WVU redeem themselves against another middle-of-the-pack ACC team after last year’s beat down against Miami. I think NC State would be a very interesting opponent.
