A good day for one Mountaineer

At least one Mountaineer had a good day Saturday. In the Arizona desert, Rich Rodriguez’s Wildcats whipped #15 Washington State, 58-37. I watched on TV after getting home from the cold, wet, discouraging loss to Oklahoma State in Mountaineer Field.

Khalil Tate, Rich’s new Pat White, was 10 for 17 for 275 yards and 2 TDs and only 1 interception compared to 4 interceptions against Washington State’s Hilinski. Just for kicks, Tate rushed for 158 yards and another TD.

Taylor, Rich’s new Steve Slaton, had 13 carries for 152 yards and 2 TDs.

Rich also has a new Tavon Austin in both K’Keal Harry and Jalen Harvey, twin blurs who averaged 28.7 and 32 yards per catch.

Arizona has a LOT of speed. They look like they are Tavon’s cousins.

Rich’s Arizona and Southern Cal are at the top with one loss apiece in the Pac-12 South. Stanford and Washington lead the Pac-12 north with one loss apiece.

Arizona and Southern Cal face off Saturday at 10:45 p.m. Eastern time.

For those who harbor hatred in their heart: Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer.

Rich, never had the old Tavon Austin.
I KNOW that. But these two look like Tavon twins although they were so fast and blurry that it's hard for my ancient eyes to be sure. It was just a comparison.

Rich is happier than WVU fans, including me, today.

I would rather Dana was happier, though.

Rich is a d-bag.
Who cares what he’s doing out there.

I KNOW that. But these two look like Tavon twins although they were so far and blurry that it's hard for my ancient eyes to be sure. It was just a comparison.
