No right wing hate on John McCain today from his "spurious nationalism " comments last night? What? Breitbart and Drudge and Rush not working today?

I admit, I had to look up spurious in the dictionary.

They know that McCain's right. Repubs attacking Repubs, good stuff.

Trump warns McCain: 'Be careful because at some point I fight back'

Good stuff. I get the feeling that might be the last we hear from him.

"To abandon the ideals we have advanced around the globe, to refuse the obligations of international leadership for the sake of some half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solve problems," he said, "is as unpatriotic as an attachment to any other tired dogma of the past that Americans consigned to the ash heap of history."

He continued: "We live in a land made of ideals, not blood and soil."

I get the impression that McCain knows his time is growing short and he's getting his legacy in order by getting on the record on certain issues re. Trump.

John McCuck, Lindsey Graham, and Paul Ryan are proof positive that the GOPe is just as evil as the Ds.

Pretty dumb and tone deaf speech from McCain.
What were you good folks saying when McCain was down here riding his express and Obama was the enemy?

I caught hell for speaking ill of McCain at the time. You can be anti McCain either way if you will just wait for him to switch his self aggrandizing side. He has taken pride in being more aligned with the liberals than conservative,

With Bannon playing Biff’s political hitman by running around the country attacking establishment GOP before the midterms, it looks like those GOP are turning their fury toward Biff.

Winning.

Very hard to muster a lot of respect for a guy who persists in making a fool of himself and being an embarrassment to the party he is supposed to represent. What a really disgraceful over the hill Democrat trying to convince voters on election day that he really wants to be a conservative. BUNK!

Yeah boy.....no hatred there davey-boy. Your stupidity never ceases. LMAO.

One question, did you show your hate on this thread right after making that stupid claim on the other thread that you see more hate from the left? LMAO.

Of course, self analysis has never been your strength. Stupidity always has. LMAO

I believe "that guy" or any guy/gal, elected to Congress is supposed to represent, not the political party, rather people who elected him to office. I digress, it is all about politics now, isn't it?

Where is my hate? Because I think Mccain squandered his potential? I m sorry that you struggle dealing with disagreement. You are the last person who needs to be squawking about hate or self analysis.

John McCuck, Lindsey Graham, and Paul Ryan are proof positive that the GOPe is just as evil as the Ds.

They signed their deal with the Devil (Leviathan) early on in their careers, and now their Souls are already pledged in allegiance to their Master. They will defend it to their political deaths which hopefully will be coming next election cycle.

Good riddance.

You won't find this information on CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, AP, NPR, Yahoo News, MSNBC or in the NYT. Too much positive news about Trump don't 'ya know?

Don’t give me that ****. There are plenty of vets, myself included, who are complete bastards.
I respect you too. I think it is funny that the liberals think that if they show love to a republican that everyone had better agree with them. I just dont like mccain at all. I dont hold it against anyone else if they like the guy.

I like him, but I’m getting frustrated with him. This routine with him is so transparently petty it’s ridiculous. With that said, I don’t blame him. After going through the hell he did, if someone like Trump dared question my service I’m not sure I’d ever let it go.

It’s funny that the liberals think he’s doing this for some other reason as evidenced by their responses in this thread.

I agree. I am not surprised either and it was dumb of trump to say what he did about him but saying sonething stupid has never scares Trump.

I doubt I am alone in this opinion I have given before but will do one more time. No doubt haters like dave will respond with a stupid response. As always, he is irrelevant and will be just laughed at with his stupidity.

I mostly disagree with McCain's politics. I am very much in agreement and appreciate his willingness to work across the aisle, has taken on his own party when he sees them in the wrong and his service to his country and how he has never used it as a tool to be better than someone else. He has been very humble when others call him a "hero" and that is admirable. I expressed the opinion in 2007 and still believe today that I could have lived with him as President, even though I don't like his willingness to use military force at every notion, but when he selected that god awful person for his VP pick, then my opinion changed and the country couldn't elect him. There was no way that worthless being should be one step away from leading this country. Unfortunately, the 2016 election put a person as worthless into the office and you now see the chaos bad decisions turn into when one's vote isn't used with intelligence but rather an emotional response.
