Its his job to find and recruit one. Seems there was absolutely no plan for what was going to happen after Lambert.
Problems happen on all three sides of the ball - it's just part of the game.
HOWEVER, when the same problems keep happening and happening and
happening as with our special teams and nothing is done it's time to question the ability of the head coach to solve problems.

This is his first season as ST coach. The ST players have been the same ones for 5 years now.
So let's fire the HC for poor ST and drop this team down to last place with Baylor for awhile. What do say...
Hell, Dana can’t even recruit a stud 4 or 5* QB and now we want him to recruit a kicker? He’s lived by QB’s that transfer here. If he’s not savvy enough recruit a stud QB here he sure as hell isn’t going to get a kicker.
FYI there are not three sides of the ball, there 3 phases of the game but every time Dana says that he sounds like an idiot.
So the kickoff guy, the place kicker and the dude who blocked a Frog into our punt returner have been here for five years? amazing lol.
So, even DH agrees with my assessment of poor special teams coaching. Here is what he said, ""There’s blame to go around. I’m number one. I didn't do a great job special teams-wise. We lost the specials team battle."
No one said he should be fired, you just tried to deflect his responsibility by blaming the incompetent kicker. I say as HC, not just leader of ST this year, it is his responsibility to know all of his team's immediate and upcoming needs.
Does Dana win big games? Don't go bringing up games that where 3 years ago its ancient History.
