He's unpopular, which means his platform is unpopular, which means senators and congressmen are getting lots of phone calls from people like me threatening to vote elsewhere if Biff's agenda moves forward, which it is not.

I find it amusing to hear Leftists confidently predicting Trump won't get his agenda enacted when around this time last year they were all predicting he wouldn't even win the Presidency.

Keep up with those solid predictions you Lefties.

The Swamp? They have all of their chips to lose.
They have the same chips they have always had. Most of those that are firmly entrenched are VERY popular and won their election handily. But You have your opinion and I have mine.

You are right, I thought that Trump would make a big push on Manchin for healthcare since he's been helping with getting regualtions removed for coal.
Joe knows what Medicaid means to West Virginians.

You guys claim it took Obama 8 years to straighten out the mess that Bush left, now that Trump is getting things moving Obama gets the credit?

Why aren't you willing to give Trump at least that much time to fix the mess that Obama left for him?

The ACA for starters. Iran & Korea for seconds.
Yeah right. One man's "mess" is another man's health insurance/state's funding but I agree that Trump has made a failed mess of trying to repeal and replace the ACA. The Iran "mess" was created over the course of several U.S. admins along side of 6 other countries and if Trump can get a better deal then more power to him but if all he's going to do is just bail out then that's just irresponsible. About the same goes for North Korea as numerous U.S. admins have kicked that can down the road and now all Trump is doing is making a way bigger mess of it so right now he's just making it worse, not fixing anything.

What mess?

Let's see Moe

How much were American companies bringing back home to invest from overseas under Obama?

How about those coal mines? He sure had them running strong didn't he?

And investment portfolios were never lower than they are now with Trump under Obama's boom were they Moe?

What has he done to improve or change the economy?

Has he worked with Congress to get any new laws passed?

Has he passed any Executive Orders which make the economy better?

How are those Carrier jobs doing?

He has opened up the spigot on investment capital releasing pent up demand by industry to expand and modernize.

How?

Releaxing punishing restrictions on banking regulations through Dodd Frank

Relaxing crippling environmental rules and regulations to build new factories

Speeding up the approval process of repatriation of overseas capital and allowing companies to immediately expense their capital improvements.

Ordering a federal review of all regulations requiring two reductions for every new order

Promising a more friendly tax environment through reductions in corporate tax rates from the highest in the world to the lowest

Encouraging more domestic energy production to lower costs of materials

Renegotiating our trade agreements to get us out of bad deals like the TPP and Paris accords.

And promising to rebuild our Armed Forces so we can have stability both at home and overseas.

And yes building a wall to protect us from Foreign invaders seeking to either infiltrate us illegally or cause damage to our homeland.

(and I didn't have to google any of that)

Releaxing punishing restrictions on banking regulations through Dodd Frank -

Dodd Frank hasn't been repealed.

Relaxing crippling environmental rules and regulations to build new factories -

The only environmental regulation that has been changed is the update of the Clean Water Act, which had only been in place 20 days. LOL.

Ordering a federal review of all regulations requiring two reductions for every new order -

LOL - nothing has changed as far as federal regulations. Hell, there are still a number of cabinet positions vacant.

Promising a more friendly tax environment through reductions in corporate tax rates from the highest in the world to the lowest

Tax rates haven't changed. LOL. And the US tax rates aren't the highest in the world, not by a long shot. You really aren't this stupid. It's an act, right?

Encouraging more domestic energy production to lower costs of materials

There have been no changes to policy on energy production. LOL.

Renegotiating our trade agreements to get us out of bad deals like the TPP and Paris accords.

We haven't renegotiated any trade deals. LOL.

And promising to rebuild our Armed Forces so we can have stability both at home and overseas.

There has been no increase YET in spending for the armed forces. LOL.

And yes building a wall to protect us from Foreign invaders seeking to either infiltrate us illegally or cause damage to our homeland.

Really? He has built the wall? And I bet you think Mexico is going to pay for it. LOL.

(and I didn't have to google any of that) - Obviously.

Countryroads89 I don't mind a good scrum with you but if you don't knock it off with all of the "you're stupid" comments I'm going to just stop exchanging posts with you.

Just state what you're opposed to and forget about the characterizations of my mental capacity.

What is this? link?

I'm on my phone and can't link it now, but about two weeks ago after the new sanctions were announced China not only joined but warned N Korea they would not have China's support if they attack US interests first.

You'll have to look it up because as I say I'm on my phone right now and selling cars like crazy. Just can't do it now but I will link you later if you can't find it OK?

So far zero investment dollars have come back from overseas, campaign promises have you confused again?
Nat gas is supplanting coal to a large degree. If blaming it on BO makes you feel better then have at it but it's market forces.
The stock market has gone up since Trump took office and that's great. It's mostly because corporate earnings have supported the rise but if you want to give credit to Trump, no one can stop you but it would be mostly coincidental unless you can point to some changes he's made. The market is also up in anticipation of some of Trump's promises but unfortunately Trump cannot deliver on those promise so at some point the market will lose faith that he can deliver and the air will come out of the balloon and the market will go back down. Keep flailing.

Well now I really am confused. Earlier this week you all were thanking Obama for the great economic news and record stock market.

Now you all act as if Trump has actually tanked the economy from Obama's record performance and done zero to effect any changes since Obama left office.

So which is it?

Moe you may be surprised to know I do agree with you Washington politicians have little to do actually creating economic expansion.

They do more harm than good. But through regulatory and taxing policy they can create more favorable environmemts for private businesses to grow and operate.

I'm giving Trump credit for creating that type of favorable business environment.

I'm on my phone and really can't provide all of the data I want countryroads89, but the House did pass a repeal of Dodd Frank back in January, the Trans Pacific partnership that Trump pulled us out of was a trade agreement, and we have both relaxed environmental regulations as well as started bringing US capital back from overseas

We do have one of the highest corporate tax rates among the G7 and Mexico will pay for the Wall.

When I get off from work and can research better on my PC I will link to all.

I doubt that anyone is clear on what effect that any regulatory rollback has had so far and it definitely would be difficult to relate it to a quantifiable increase in stock market averages . There have been no changes in tax policy that I'm aware of but they want to overhaul the income/business tax structure but that's not occurred yet. Again Republicans will stand in their own way when it comes to tax reform. Trump has great plans but few of them have come to pass yet.

I don't know how much of the stuff @WVU82 posts you look at but he had lots of data on all of this we're discussing. Search some of his previous postings especially after Trump's first 100 days.

It was informative especially if all you watch is CNN.

Yes!

I'm not saying that maybe a time or two you may have pushed one of my buttons with your incessant name calling and I may have retaliated, but generally I pass on engaging in childish name calling because I'm not a child.

If I have I apologize but I'd sure like to know what I said that I'm apologizing for?

I doubt you can find a long list of names I regularly call you but you can try to find them if you like.

Also I can't be a snowflake country I'm Black!

Snowflakes are by definition clueless Leftist White Chicks. Are you one?
