Yeah right. One man's "mess" is another man's health insurance/state's funding but I agree that Trump has made a failed mess of trying to repeal and replace the ACA. The Iran "mess" was created over the course of several U.S. admins along side of 6 other countries and if Trump can get a better deal then more power to him but if all he's going to do is just bail out then that's just irresponsible. About the same goes for North Korea as numerous U.S. admins have kicked that can down the road and now all Trump is doing is making a way bigger mess of it so right now he's just making it worse, not fixing anything.
What has he done to improve or change the economy?
Has he worked with Congress to get any new laws passed?
Has he passed any Executive Orders which make the economy better?
How are those Carrier jobs doing?
He has opened up the spigot on investment capital releasing pent up demand by industry to expand and modernize.

Releaxing punishing restrictions on banking regulations through Dodd Frank
Relaxing crippling environmental rules and regulations to build new factories
Speeding up the approval process of repatriation of overseas capital and allowing companies to immediately expense their capital improvements.
Ordering a federal review of all regulations requiring two reductions for every new order
Promising a more friendly tax environment through reductions in corporate tax rates from the highest in the world to the lowest
Encouraging more domestic energy production to lower costs of materials
Renegotiating our trade agreements to get us out of bad deals like the TPP and Paris accords.
And promising to rebuild our Armed Forces so we can have stability both at home and overseas.
And yes building a wall to protect us from Foreign invaders seeking to either infiltrate us illegally or cause damage to our homeland.

The only environmental regulation that has been changed is the update of the Clean Water Act, which had only been in place 20 days. LOL.

Nat gas is supplanting coal to a large degree. If blaming it on BO makes you feel better then have at it but it's market forces.
The stock market has gone up since Trump took office and that's great. It's mostly because corporate earnings have supported the rise but if you want to give credit to Trump, no one can stop you but it would be mostly coincidental unless you can point to some changes he's made. The market is also up in anticipation of some of Trump's promises but unfortunately Trump cannot deliver on those promise so at some point the market will lose faith that he can deliver and the air will come out of the balloon and the market will go back down. Keep flailing.
Well now I really am confused. Earlier this week you all were thanking Obama for the great economic news and record stock market.
Now you all act as if Trump has actually tanked the economy from Obama's record performance and done zero to effect any changes since Obama left office.

Moe you may be surprised to know I do agree with you Washington politicians have little to do actually creating economic expansion.
They do more harm than good. But through regulatory and taxing policy they can create more favorable environmemts for private businesses to grow and operate.
I'm giving Trump credit for creating that type of favorable business environment.

I'm on my phone and really can't provide all of the data I want countryroads89, but the House did pass a repeal of Dodd Frank back in January, the Trans Pacific partnership that Trump pulled us out of was a trade agreement, and we have both relaxed environmental regulations as well as started bringing US capital back from overseas
We do have one of the highest corporate tax rates among the G7 and Mexico will pay for the Wall.

I doubt that anyone is clear on what effect that any regulatory rollback has had so far and it definitely would be difficult to relate it to a quantifiable increase in stock market averages . There have been no changes in tax policy that I'm aware of but they want to overhaul the income/business tax structure but that's not occurred yet. Again Republicans will stand in their own way when it comes to tax reform. Trump has great plans but few of them have come to pass yet.
