No....I support it and I also support people that disagree with disrespecting our country and speak out about it. Trump has EVERY right to say what he believes. BTW...the owners ALSO have the right not to pay millions to an ******* like Colon Kaeperdick. What part are you confused about.

Big difference....you are a coach of youths. These are adults. Freedoms of adulthood. People shouldn't be forced to do anything other than follow the law of the land, the law that protects them and their choices if done non-violently.

So, Golden State should release Curry if he decides to not salute the flag? [laughing] Yeah, that's teaching him a lesson. Same goes with the NFL owners. They are running a business. They employ wife beaters and drug abusers. And you have an issue with their politics?

Never said that.....If an owner supports releasing them....I would be OK with it. I support STOPPING and PROTESTING against the genocide that is taking place in Chicago and other cities around our country. It's FAR MORE IMPORTANT than political showboating by millionaire athletes.

Well, I take issue with people who attack these athletes for doing something that is allowed under our Constitution, but say nothing to the 1,000's of fans who walk to the bathroom to take a piss or concession to buy a beer during the anthem. [winking]

Right, and the owners aren't stupid. If they thought the best thing would be to release a player, then they would do so. Don't believe me? Does Kaepernick have a job yet?

Doesn't apply to employees. Ask Curt Schilling, and he wasn't even on espn's company clock when he expressed a conservative opinion.

Schilling was warned 3 times and continued before being dismissed. Jemele Hill has gotten and received her first warning........why can't you guys see this?

Thanks for helping me make a point. Continued empty seats will likely move the needle even more. I'll keep watching the Cowboys unless they start with the anti-American antics.

College football attendance is also down, guess those college players kneeling must be a problem too......or it could be that football and CTE is making it unpopular?

Jemele continues to tirelessly spout off about what she has been warned. Apparently espc has decided to quit warning her. Their call. If the left wants to endorse the disrespect (not the right to, but the act) so be it. Liberals will lose this cultural war and that's a good thing, imo.
